      I can't wait to see them! I was spoiled by Nicky, I knew she would bring her new fawns to the yard as soon as they could follow her, this doe may be more cautious since she isn't one of our regular herd. Just about one month until they are born, hopefully not long after that we may see the little ones.😊❤

    C'est merveilleux de voir de nouveaux cerfs et nouvelles biches près de vous dans votre propriété ! Ils ont confiance en vous ! La biche enceinte nous donne l'espoir de voir des petits faons bientôt ! Trop beau ! J'ai hâte de voir cela !

      Hi Ambre, Thank you! Seeing the new fawns is my favorite. I get pretty excited this time of year, specially knowing some of doe that come visit are expecting. The new ones should be here within a month and as soon as their mother feels they are ready, hopefully they'll join her in the yard. When Nicky was still here she would bring them out as early as two weeks, super cute and curious.😊❤

      We could get to see them by the end of June if that doe feels it's safe enough for her to bring them out into the yard. Eventually they will follow her out whether she is ready or not out of curiosity! It took less than two weeks when Nicky was here, any new mothers may be more protective and neither Tricky, Flo or Goldie seems pregnant this year. I almost wonder if Tricky is sterile, I don't recall her having a fawn of her own in the last three years at least. She makes a great step-mom to Flo and the twins though.😊

      😂I'm sure she wishes they were lungs! I can't be certain but as big as she is we may see triplets! It's definitely twins at the least. I just hope she brings them out for us all to see.😊❤

    Do deer eat carrots 🥕? Pretty neat you attracted other deer. Pretty darn close for new comers! Can't wait to start seeing little ones ❤❤❤❤

      @wildlifeathome  Před 3 měsíci

      I would think they like carrots, but I've put baby carrots on the stump and they just ignore them. I hope when this doe gives birth she will bring them around earlier than later, I'm sure that is why her little ones allow me closer than she will come, they got to know me when they were still quite young. Either way, it's good to know there will be new deer in the area to make friends with!😁♥️
