Finding long-lost friends & community | karaoke in NYC, touring Brown University & RISD!

Recently, someone ask me who my top 8 closest friends were....and I really didn't have an answer. Consequently, I started to think a lot about community: what does it mean to be close friends with someone? What are the communities in my life that I care about? My trip to New York City, Brown University, and the Rhode Island School of Design were a couple of weeks ago, but revisiting this footage was good reminder that perhaps the reason I couldn't immediately answer the former question was because I experience community in so many different places/ways...perhaps in some ways I took these experiences of community for granted. Cheers to community, meeting long-lost friends, and for traveling to meet those friends :)
