- [revamped with better quality and new tips!] Studying for the MCAT takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice, and I remember feeling devastated when I couldn't even hit 500 on my diagnostic practice test. Thankfully, I was able to increase my score by 24 points using these tips...I just wish I knew all this before taking the MCAT thrice (is this even a word anymore?). I hope y'all find this video saves you one less trip to the Pearson Professional Center...godspeed and best of luck to you all ;;

I scored a 473 on my diagnostic so hope it makes you feel better. Let's just say it was a humbling moment for me. Since then I've increased almost 30 points and hope I'll continue to improve. Thanks for sharing your MCAT journey so honestly.
How long it took you to go up 30 points?
What did you do?
I’m retaking the exam 2 weeks from today. I love anki! Anki helped me remember information in decks I studied weeks or even months ago. Part of the reason I didn’t get a good score in 9/2023 was that I spent close to 9 months studying to do unforeseen medical and family circumstances. I quit my job in 2/2024 to focus on studying. I also take Sunday off every week. I signed up for a June test date in February to keep me motivated and not burn out. Last year I felt like the studying would never end. I’ve been more anxious with test day approaching BUT I’ve been less stressed for most of my prep (and scoring well on exams).
I already scored a 625 on my practice exam! Thanks Samuel!
Watching this 16 days out and realising I made the same mistakes as you did. I spent WAY too long on content review, studied passively and did no practice, and now I feel like I know nothing. I just hope i break 500 on the real deal (on the 31st) and then God willing achieve my goal score on my retake!
good luck!! I hope you don't have to take it more than twice🙏🏼
This was such an informative not to mention hilarious breakdown of the journey lol. Super appreciate you sharing your notes. Thank you so much for this!
This was the most realistic MCAT journey I have heard so far. Thank you so much Sam!!
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO AND THE STUDY NOTES!!
Love your personality -you will be a great doctor one that someone is excited to see ♥️🙏🏾🔥
Thank you so much Sam. My 87 year ild grandpa has always wanted to be a doctor. I showed this video to him and he decided to take the MCAT. He took it and got a $599.99. He died a day after taking the test. Thank you so much again 🙏🏻
my condolences to your late grandfather🙏🏼

you are the best
Thank you for doing this! do u have any study resources recommendations for mcat?
Thanks to Sam I got into med school as a kindergartner
Add me to that list!
💀💀💀💀
Did you have a specific sheet you used for all of the equations?
I made my own sheet to study off of, but Kaplan has a pretty good sheet of formulas as well!
I got a 503 on BP FL # 2. About to switch to AAMC. Should I expect to go up or down
What were your scores on the Mcat?
He says he ended with 516 And yeah he didn’t mention old scores
Me taking notes rn cuz why not.
I’m you in the beginning of this video right now lol. I HATE it, but love the challenge at the same time. But I still Hate It though. I week away.
GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU CRUSH IT
How was it?
meanwhile me.... I decided a month ago I want to go to med school and become a doctor and don't graduate until later on so I'm hoping I don't post pone the mcat studying for too long ahaha
not me watching this 6 days out
best of luck!!!
Can we be friends ? I postponed my MCAT 3x already and it had been terribly horrible
It’s just nice to see someone that I can relate to; currently a senior in college! And I’m just disappointed that I haven’t took my MCAT yet bc I’ve been so afraid
You got this and I’m praying for you!!! Please know that you got this❤
I also postponed mine to August. I was supposed to take it in May, then postponed it to June then August. I’m so scared because I’m working full time and I feel like I don’t have enough time to study well but we’ll see. We got it 🥹
@@mooskamooska8576 thank you sm!! we need all the prayers we can get!!
@@lois4544 YOU GOT THIS!!!
LMAO, I am doing the MCAT for the first time, and I didn't realize that people schedule for this exam centuries before they give it, so now I am also having to travel to another province to take it. It's ok; I will travel, still give it, and still apply to med school. Ain't no bitch stopping me.
Is there really physics on the MCAT?
Yes 😢
