I just got the same kayak, same year and all. Different color though. I even Have the Garmin Echomap 64 on mine😁 You got a hell of a deal!
This is my 4th kayak and casting with the pfd will become normal. You learn to move around it and it will seem like its not even there. You can cast standing up as well. This is the most stable kayak I have ever been on. I absolutely love it! You will love yours too. Tight lines friend,

Awesome! Yeah this is my first one and honestly I dont think I'll ever need another unless it's something smaller for dragging through the woods to get to creeks. I've had it out twice and love it. Yeah, the PFD. Realized it is an XL-XXL... LOL. Sending it back and getting one that fits better. Thanks for watching and commenting. When are you gonna start uploading some kayak fishing videos?

I heard you can fit rods in the hatch with the 12 for storage. Have you tried that yet?

I have not but I would say you could easily fit 6 rods, 3 on each side, maybe more.
