The real funny "not a joke" thing is that US police employs Mine-resistant ambush vehicles and assault rifles, probably outcompeting green berets in firepower that every squad car possess.
It's my dream one day to become a green beret. I am currently in the process of joining the Army, no matter how long it takes, I will be one of these badasses.

Special operations forces shouldn't defined by how badass they are. Nor should it matter how tough your training is. They should be defined by how well they accomplish their mission. Army special forces do just fine at their mission. They're also badass, as any operator will tell you.
If everybody in the army trained the same it would be much easier but, from experience there's always a couple who think they know it all and don't want to listen and cooperate and dumbass rotc officers who do just about everything by the book.
It does matter how tough their training is, that is why they accomplish their missions so well
Also...they usually do not use the word "operator"...sounds good in the media, movies, and games..but IRL, just usually never said.
Well if your training is better wouldn't you be better as a result?

This was a training with chileans special forces, is very common between US and our friends in Sudamerica like Chile, Colombia , Peru!
, Brazil , Argentina, etc,etc we got to keep our friends closer , specially now that Russia is getting close and friendly with Venezuela.

Michael Brown Dude no way! My uncle was also part of the 3rd Special Forces group he wasn’t a Green Beret but he was part of the 75th Ranger Battalion he transferred to 1st SFOD in late October of 1990 and participated in the Mogadishu operation. Fast forward he retired in 2012 from the U.S. Army

A guy who lived around the corner from me has been a Green Beret for around 20 years. The amount of respect towards him can't have an amount or number placed on it.
