This is actually the first Stormcast I've painted, I was never that big on the older sculpts, but I love these new ones. Proper Greco-Roman Paladins! The colour scheme is inspired by the Ravnica Guild Boros from MtG! It's a quick and easy scheme that's easily adaptable to a variety of secondary colours.

Pretty impressed by the final look of the gold. I always have problem with metallics, difficult to have a good cover and they usually end to look flat and waste the details, so this method sounds good to me.
Thankyou! I agree, metallics can be annoying. I always try and drybrush them as a base when I can, I feel like it gives them the best application 😀

I've been thinking of making a video on brushes for a while now, so I'll definitely keep that in mind 🙂 I mainly use cheaper to midrange brushes like Citadel and Army Painter. The AP basecoat brush is one of my favourites if I had to recommend one, good size for all things and not too hard on the wallet. I use the Masters Brush Cleaner for maintenance but I can definitely be slack with that lol!

Do you spray the miniture black before painting?
Yes, I use Citadel Chaos Black spray for all my undercoating 😊
Which stormcast mini is this? I'm having a hard time finding it (the dark-skinned, corn-rolled version)?
This is from the Stormcast Vindicators box. All the minis have an alternate bare head on the sprue 😊
