This was super useful, thank you! Ours doesn't have any clips to hold them down inside so im hoping they won't blow upwards with the fan....? (It was installed like that)
Thanks pal. I’m not very good as this sort of thing I didn’t realise they had filters in. Do you get different types of extractor fans? I live in an apartment not sure if it’s sent outside or not
they should all have a filter because it protects the fan and ducting from grease etc getting built up over time, if it doesn't go outside perhaps yours wasn't connected up
@@DanielJohnHowTo yes sir I have. I was looking for a large type of filter to put over a fan to stop dust getting through. As HEPA filters for vacumns are far too small.

Hello. Daft question sorry. But can these cooker hood filters dust and particles and pollen???
I guess it depends on how small the particles are and this may not do it, have you checked hepa filter material? They use that in vacuum cleaners
