Asrock live mixer. Looks very nice and has a lot of ports for content creation! 14 usb ports most of which will be occupied in my case cause I have open case and no front panel with additional usbs. Also 3 m.2 which will also be all occupied. Integrated sound with optical spdif which I will use. Can’t wait to buy it :)
PS two of the usb ports are able to output consistent 5v and two other are designed for HID devices such as keyboard and mouse so they have no interference, which is appreciated
PPS additional pcie 4x slots in form factor of 16x are very much appreciated! :D
Though I am on B760-Plus Prime D5.. If I were to go AMD, probably B650 for middle path. 🤙

I want to mention that at b650 tier, that the b650 hdv/m.2 do not have rgb support. Which obviously i don't think matter much, never cared for it. But its worth knowing.
Indeed. I think that HDV does what it is supposed to very well. It is focused on bringing as much functionality as possible to the lowest price tier. I haven't seen a better product from another company that offers better value.

asrock b650m-hdv/m.2 is the way to go as long as it has all the ports and features you need.

Riptide has better M.2 SSD heatsink and I/O shield pre-installed. I'd pick that.

is it really true that a620 can't support over 120w? I thought I saw an a620 that supports even up to 170w. The GIGABYTE A620M has an 8 +2+1 VRM. Seems like this would support over the 120w that AsRock has since it has a better VRM
GIGABYTE B650M K has the same VRM set up and yet it theoretically supports up to 170w. I think a620 can do it too
techyescity did a review of the asrock pro rs one. its quite good, but there is a power limit. forgot exact number though
a620 are limitted to even less than that(like 82W or something like that. Nobody should buy these motherboards if they consider updrading their system in the lifespawn of their PC and if you don't why do you buy the more expensive AM5 generation? a620 are terrible buy imo.

@@lynnnl I suggest you look at hardware unboxed channels they cover a620 and b650 motherboard extensively, it might help you decide. I'd try to find an open box B650 personnally if I'd really want to cut on price.
Magnifique vidéo, surtout pour un "FanBoy Asrock" comme moi. Je viens de changer ma configuration d'un 5800X vers un 7800X3D avec B650M HDV/M.2 car j'ai un boitier fermé Bequiet.
Mais lorsque je déciderai de changer pour un boitier ouvert pour mettre en valeur mes composants, je remplacerai par une Taichi Lite afin d'avoir une harmonie avec ma 7900XTX Taichi.
Enfin, dans le futur, si jamais j'ai des euros à dépenses car cela ne me donnera pas plus de FPS pour ma configuration dédiée à 100% au gaming

I'm just a gamer - Think I'm leaning towards a good A620 with a 65w Ryzen 7700 (105w 7700X doesn't offer much more for the price/power since I gave up with Overclocking 🤣🤣). PCIe 5.0 for the GPU just seems like a money grab feature at this point so I'll skip that (running my 3080TI PCIe 3.0x16 no issues so 4.0 is plenty for the foreseeable 👍). My fav board is the one I'm using atm - Asus ROG STRIX B450-I GAMING (ITX) with the RTX 3080TI/Ryzen 9 5900X - this board is great & overkill for my usage - no issues, not even with the VRM which got slated for running hot with no airflow (I mean who runs with no airflow in a pc case ??), It's fine with adequate air-flow & I have the GPU on a Riser so it don't cook the mobo - but the equivalent AM5 platform B650 Asus ITX is expensive so I'm cutting the features I think I might need but will never use - A620 seems to have everything covered - now I just need to find the right one 🤔🤔
I personally have a ASRock A620M PRO RS working with R5 7600 CPU and don't regret not getting the B650. 2 Gen4 M.2 SSDs + one Gen3 for upgrades in the future is way more than i could ask for. Installed the Wi-Fi 6E card by myself, could not find the wifi version on the market :c
asking for an opinion, i cant find Asrock A620M-HDV/M.2+ in my country only have the Asrock A620M-HDV/M.2 for around 100 dollars ( RM 400) for me here it still a good choice for me compared to msi pro a620m?
Both are less than ideal. I'd recommend finding an alternative that has a heatsink on VRM to keep it cool. ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 is my preferred budget-friendly AMD motherboard. But if your options are limited to those two then I'd pick the MSI. It looks a bit better on paper.

Yes, A620M-HDV/M.2+ would be your best option. Of course, if it's not a lot more expensive than the other two options you have. Sometimes you just have to buy what is available to you. The msi pro a620m will still get the job done. If the room where your PC is operating is getting hot then you might lose some CPU performance when power delivery system will get hot but the PC should still work fine.

Can A620m boards overclock cpu,gpu & ram?
Ram and gpu only. A620 will still boost the cpu frequency as expected. The 7600x has a base clock of 4.7ghz and can boost up to 5.3ghz with the ASRock A620M-HDV/M.2+ and can be had for 79.99 on Newegg. It will offer full performance (without overclocking) for any am5 chip except the 7900x and the 7950x.

@@yungspidi so, really not because of the price, here in Brazil currently its the same, with a difference of 14 dollars. But Reason is exactly because of the temperature, 7600 vs 7600x in performance has a 4% difference only, but 7600 runs with 65W which means somewhat around 60-66 Celsius versus 80+ from 7600x. This means that for my reality in BRL currency, I can run a 7600 with a simple air cooler instead of paying 140 dollars in an watercooler plus not having the need to change my PC case. Thanks for the answer btw! I don't care about the esthetics on a mobo actually, my opened pc case side goes to a wall so.. lol I was in doubt though about mATX versus ATX but is seems to not loose performance, only number of features and this Asrock a620 pro rs wifi covers all I need. My other option has being the MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi.

Get ASRock B650E Taichi Lite if you want high-end features and specs at affordable price. MSI B650 TOMAHAWK if you want something in the middle. ASRock B650M-HDV/M.2 if you want to spend as little as possible.

I wish there was more selection of X670 and X670E motherboards in mATX and ITX sizes, theres literally only 1 for mATX and its nearly $600 USD (Asus X670e Gene) and then the Asus X670e-I for ITX which is $450 😢
I think the sheer cost of making such a thing is making it unpractical. I suspect that is why there aren't more of them available.
x670 is pretty useless, many b650 boards have better feature than some x670

Matx wont have enough slots to utilize all the lanes of the x670 it will just be a waste
A smaller form factor for X670(E) motherboards doesn't make sense because there are too many ports to support.
highly disagree best b650e-f is by asus rog strix , has 4 nvme 1 gen 5 and 3 gen 4, and its got gpu pcie gen 5 and one gen 4 , and its got 3 usb c ports hich is 2 extra of any top x670e and it has 3 more usb 4 ports ten any top x670e

The Strix B650E-F is by far the best bang for buck board.
If you care about Sata these boards use a doubler on a very old controller limiting speeds to around 380mbps, also had constant issues with Usb needing to be reset every few weeks I also don't like how the lane sharing works on this if you populate the bottom Nvme slot it halfs your top pci-e graphics card to x8 and populate the 3rd Nvme slot it disables your 2nd pci-e slot completely. My board was the Rog Strix B650E-E version after a few months of owning it the vrm exploded (while idling) and had to replace the entire board needless to say I won't be buying another Asus board anytime soon.

A620 pair with rx 7800 xt good pair?
You should check if the A620 you've chosen is good enough for your CPU. RX 7800 XT GPU will work just fine with any modern motherboard. A620 included. So, no worries there. What about your CPU? Which one are you buying?

The cheapest A620 will be good for Ryzen 7600. Don't spend more if you don't need to.
