100%
yup
Love to see it
Yes please it's amazing! 😊
100% defo
It comes across in these videos how much Jess loves her job. Please make this an ongoing series!
I agree
To be honest dovetail, I wouldn't look to add anything else to the game until you sort out all the errors and inconsistencies this experienced driver pointed out to you!
Well said!
They’ll make like 3 changes and charge everyone £70 and call it a new game
I hope you guys are taking notes 😂 The info she is giving you is absolute gold. And some things seem like simple updates and fixes - such as which way round the train is, or having the rear pan raised.
I know these aren't bugs, just a details thing, so not a huge priority. However, it would be nice to see her knowledge put to use.
Jess is my new favorite CZcamsr 😂
Wow I wasn't even expecting a part 2 but I really enjoyed the first part and hearing all the in-depth knowledge Jess has about the route in the last one.
You weren’t expecting a part 2 when the first one was called part 1…. 🤷🏻♂️
@@967jamesbaird i watched the first part on my phone and it doesn't show the whole title, didn't notice this until i went on my pc
I work as an electric train driver in Russia and fell madly in love with this simulator. Huge greetings to all from the Moscow railway!😉😉😉
Amazing! Greetings 😊
#Free Ukraine, and Russians from lil putin
Jess has an informative but relaxing style of delivery/narration.
… sounds to me like the dlc producers need real train drivers on their team during development if they want to call this a simulation as in Train Sim World … Jess is great👌
I am platform staff for TPE seeing theses insights into the drivers eye view is brilliant keep up the great work Jess
Great to see Jess taking the game apart 😂
One question I have about stopping at the end of the platform - yes, you need to go far enough along that the rear doors aren't hanging off the end of the platform - but why does that mean you need to do right to the end? At Selby (s-bound), it means the rear carriage has gone past the end of the platform canopy, meaning that if it's raining, everyone has to get wet! Hull Trains with exactly the same model of train stop at the 5-car marker meaning that they're alongside the canopy where everyone is waiting.
Great work, Jess! This is our new favourite series 😍
Great to hear it 😄 ^Molly
Would _love_ to see her playing this without having to also get used to a controller! Definitely more in this series please! Also would love to have an on screen glossary when various things are mentioned. SDO, TMS etc...
Last video made me investigate TSW4, find out that you can do it in VR (Paydog's UEVR), and now I've got about forty hours in it! Love it!
Welcome to the crew 😃
Jess is catching on. Even the legend, Dad Rail, watches her.
Jess speeding, that's tea n biscuits with your manager, Dad Rail says the same thing hehe....love these videos with a real train driver, great job Jess. More please. Daz, Leicester.
I find this very interesting as you can now see the game in a completely different way. I've wouldn't of known even half of what jess knows its incredible
pretty cool I live in Newark and pretty accurate travelled many times on on this line , these trains certainly move ,
Jess is so cool, bring her back for another video 😎
What an amazing personality she has, and it's fantastic seeing more women represented in such an amazing career same with bus drivers, would love to see her driving the bouncin better i used to work as a guard on classic Class 142 pacer
Jess I love your knowledge and humidity doing this job total respect to you
Absolutely fascinating from start to finish! I had no idea how much drivers had to take in account on every journey. I would love to see Azuma driver can videos in the future
Jess is an incredible driver, love it when she shares her knowledge
The rear panto can be raised by hitting the lower panto button and then going onto the TMS, finding Panto. Selection and clicking the rear panto box and hitting confirm, however the VCB light does not illuminate while the rear panto is up and if you move the reverser at all then it automatically goes down, other than that you can drive perfectly fine, I hope they at some point fix this and allow the rear panto to be the primary, but we gotta make do with what we got i guess
not sure how realistic this info is but it's how it works in game
love watching the videos and seeing that it is like real world as a given from someone with actual experience, i was going to say congrats on fixing the looking up into the air, but at 13mins in i see your still looking for planes lol. i am currently playing this on the PC, and find it much easier to control. you should get a setup. and be good to hear what some of the shortcut keys are. my veiws using a mouse never look up to the sky for no reason. loving the videos.
Absolutely love jess please continue to do more videos there fantastic ❤
she is a GEM to watch. ill watch anything she drives thanks for the content.
Quite enjoyed watching a lner train driver play tsw4 lner 1 of my favourite routes hope u do more videos like this 😀
Please more of these videos :)
Love to see a vid explaining how you would drive the route as a driver
We should do an episode with no HUD
Cograts Jess, you be clear to explain the "secrets" of a real driving i hope Dovetail, en first place resolve many issues are and apply som of the real issues can find in the real world.
I didn't see Part 1 (I'll look it up), but I think his was great - of course, I assumed it was the driver's channel not the Railways' - how awesome!! (even better if it was done "on the clock")
I saw Jess and Newark North gate and I was train spotting
more please!
I love lner class 801 even tho there rivals are my favourite class180 grand central 😂❤
Yes I love her ….. as she from my neck of the woods that helps
Get her to help ya with the rest of the EC routes, she extremely knowledgeable
But she needs to suffer with the FS also 😂😂😂
Oh Jess, I mean, yes.
i love lner trains ❤️
😃
❤
Yes They Look So Nice! My Favorite Has To Be Flying Scotsman
@@VonWasHere13 yes i like the class 801 it so modern and stylish i wonder how comfortable flying Scotsman is
Intercity 225 personally is better then both @@ducky_xyz.6
I'd love to see Jess playing in other systems while someone who works from that system watches along.
Get a new controller , this one has controller drif
That early I had to launch the video from the X link to see it 😮💨
LNER Gaming this should be
I remember playing this myself and thinking about how wrong they had the boards for the temporary speed restriction
"check the pan was up the right way" -- what defines which pan you use? Is there a reason you use one over the other?
… re faults … just have an option in settings on/off or even select type of faults as with MSFS
I would have been nice to know what switches and which systems were being switched on at the start! Cheers.
It’s the switches labelled TPWS/AWS, Vigilance, DSD and SDO 🙂
@@LondonNorthEasternRailway Ah, great, I'll look them up to see what they do and try them out right now! Thanks.
@@LondonNorthEasternRailway This is ChatGPT's quick summary of those safety systems, if anybody's interested. I hope it's correct; you never know what you're going to get with ChatGPT!
Best wishes:
1. **TPWS (Train Protection & Warning System) / AWS (Automatic Warning System) are designed to prevent accidents caused by human error, such as speeding or passing signals at danger.
- TPWS/AWS monitors the train's speed and position relative to signals. If the train is approaching a signal at danger or exceeding the speed limit, TPWS/AWS triggers warnings and, if necessary, applies emergency brakes to stop the train.
2. **Vigilance**:
The vigilance system ensures that the player remains attentive and engaged while operating the virtual train.
- Similar to real-world vigilance systems, Train Sim 4 may periodically prompt the player to take action or acknowledge alerts to demonstrate their attentiveness.
- Failure to respond within the specified timeframe could result in penalties or simulated consequences, such as a simulated loss of control or derailment, enhancing the realism and challenge of the simulation.
3. **DSD (Driver's Safety Device)**:
- The DSD simulates the need for the player to interact with controls or acknowledge alerts within a certain timeframe to demonstrate their capability and alertness.
- Failure to respond appropriately within the simulated timeframe could result in penalties or simulated consequences, emphasizing the importance of driver vigilance and responsiveness.
4. **SDO (Signal Passed at Danger Override)**:
- In Train Sim 4, SDO may simulate the ability for the player to override signals at danger under specific circumstances, similar to its real-world counterpart.
- SDO could provide a controlled means for the player to proceed past a signal at danger in emergency situations, with appropriate penalties or consequences for misuse or failure to adhere to safety protocols.
Hi LNER
WAS JESS SAT IN A REAL CAB OF A LNER ASUMA OR IS IT A GREEN SCREAN
It was a real cab at the beginning! 🚆
I wonder if DTG will actually make any changes to this loco/route based on the feedback Jess has given here?
Hopefully but probably no…….
She should try some of the other routes. Like Fife circle, goblin and maybe a German route.
Probably wouldent be allowed to while representing LNER
@@MrStabby19812 yeah good point.
Jess isn't chasing anything, the signalling doesn't match what's on the line on this route, in any scenario, even free roam. She's slowing down for a phantom yellow basically.
Some of them do represent the signallers being late with a crossing or setting a route. But for the auto signals you are absolutely right!
The sim seems to do this pretty consistently
I guess Jess using XBOX controller, so next time when she needs to use driver's desk, tell her to click LSB and RSB simultaneously and pan RSB so that it zooms towards the buttons.
She's kept struggling to see as the monitor is far away i guess..
Seems like the right stick has drift too. Keeps drifting upwards on its own.
@@mikkdcI think that’s a bug in the game, it does the same in TSW3
"Wouldn't happen on PlayStation" 😂
The camera drifting constantly really, really needs to get fixed. It's unbelievably distracting.
Controller problem, never experienced drift in this game
Maybe get her to try a train or route she us completely unfamiliar with, Maybe London to Brighton on London commuter, with the class 700 mod and scenery enhancements.
They probably won’t do mods as 1) their on console and 2) it’s official LNER so I doubt it.
@@thediamonder11London commuter is so bad without mods... Otherwise I guess southeastern high speed 700 would be good
@@thediamonder11Oh, I don't know... It would be kinda fun to see the other TOCs picking up on it and @LondonNorthEastRailway and the others going for bragging rights over whose drivers can do the tutorial on somebody else's train, drop cold into somebody else's route and do the best job in the game :D
@@davebooth5847 Companies should be more like people than corporations. :)
@@thediamonder11 Oh HELL no! But corporations are MADE of people, kinda like soylent green. It's the PEOPLE that would want the bragging rights :)
I am playing now and I still can't drive this.
Keep going Gemma!
@@LondonNorthEasternRailway Luckily Jess can help me
Does the character in-game get a disproportionate salary as well? Realistic if so
Dalek: WE ARE NOT YOUR "TRAIN SPEED RESTRICTION BOARDS". EXTERMINATE!
Episode one of stupid trains on stupid routes:
An Azuma on Retford low level
Why not put the speed signs where you can accelerate instead of this weird system where you have to guess where you can accelerate depending on how many cars you have… 2,3,4,5,7,8 or 12 car configurations are common. Of different lengths of cars too.
Because they’d have to have a sign located in the correct position for every possible train length (I’m guessing).
Because think of the cost to maintain every one of those speed boards in the country for ever new rolling stock, length of train etc. And freight, they can vary from a light loco to 15/20 cars long.
Someone get her a new controller 😂
Oi "Sonic" - jump in the seat of a DBCargo 66, add a shed load of weight mix in some rain and give that a bash, they are a bit more basic than the space shuttle you drive......
Perhaps Train Simulators like this one should allow people to become train drivers and to drive real trains.
talk about stuttering
3:01 woman is driving. Subtitles "Can you get into the kitchen" lmfao
Way too many ads to be watchable sorry
Difference is us train sim drivers don’t go on srike like he does … 🤷♂️
you train sim drivers also contribute nothing to society soo…
Are you boy or girl?!
