I hope you guys are taking notes 😂 The info she is giving you is absolute gold. And some things seem like simple updates and fixes - such as which way round the train is, or having the rear pan raised.
I know these aren't bugs, just a details thing, so not a huge priority. However, it would be nice to see her knowledge put to use.

Great to see Jess taking the game apart 😂
One question I have about stopping at the end of the platform - yes, you need to go far enough along that the rear doors aren't hanging off the end of the platform - but why does that mean you need to do right to the end? At Selby (s-bound), it means the rear carriage has gone past the end of the platform canopy, meaning that if it's raining, everyone has to get wet! Hull Trains with exactly the same model of train stop at the 5-car marker meaning that they're alongside the canopy where everyone is waiting.

The rear panto can be raised by hitting the lower panto button and then going onto the TMS, finding Panto. Selection and clicking the rear panto box and hitting confirm, however the VCB light does not illuminate while the rear panto is up and if you move the reverser at all then it automatically goes down, other than that you can drive perfectly fine, I hope they at some point fix this and allow the rear panto to be the primary, but we gotta make do with what we got i guess

@@LondonNorthEasternRailway This is ChatGPT's quick summary of those safety systems, if anybody's interested. I hope it's correct; you never know what you're going to get with ChatGPT!
      Best wishes:
      1. **TPWS (Train Protection & Warning System) / AWS (Automatic Warning System) are designed to prevent accidents caused by human error, such as speeding or passing signals at danger.
      - TPWS/AWS monitors the train's speed and position relative to signals. If the train is approaching a signal at danger or exceeding the speed limit, TPWS/AWS triggers warnings and, if necessary, applies emergency brakes to stop the train.
      2. **Vigilance**:
The vigilance system ensures that the player remains attentive and engaged while operating the virtual train.
      - Similar to real-world vigilance systems, Train Sim 4 may periodically prompt the player to take action or acknowledge alerts to demonstrate their attentiveness.
      - Failure to respond within the specified timeframe could result in penalties or simulated consequences, such as a simulated loss of control or derailment, enhancing the realism and challenge of the simulation.
      3. **DSD (Driver's Safety Device)**:
      - The DSD simulates the need for the player to interact with controls or acknowledge alerts within a certain timeframe to demonstrate their capability and alertness.
      - Failure to respond appropriately within the simulated timeframe could result in penalties or simulated consequences, emphasizing the importance of driver vigilance and responsiveness.
      4. **SDO (Signal Passed at Danger Override)**:
      - In Train Sim 4, SDO may simulate the ability for the player to override signals at danger under specific circumstances, similar to its real-world counterpart.
      - SDO could provide a controlled means for the player to proceed past a signal at danger in emergency situations, with appropriate penalties or consequences for misuse or failure to adhere to safety protocols.
