The thing that really stands out to me is just how loose Jess is with the speed limits. She's not driving the train like a race car, trying to stick to the speed limit as close as possible. And to be honest, this makes sense. But if you do this in TSW, you WILL fall behind on your schedule. The timing is way too tight on all routes. You don't have time for checks, or for setting things up. You must close doors the instant you can, you need to do a burnout leaving the station, then you need to drive at 125.9mph, and then you need to be screeching into the platform in order to have a chance at making it on time. The schedule is way too tight.

Could a normal person enjoy this game? Like microsoft flight sim you can simplyfy it like crazy, fly a plane with a controller nice and easy!

This absolutely has to be a piss take. Currently sat on the LNER from Edinburgh to London. WiFi is useless and for some reason on thier trains your phone can't get signal, taken me 10 attempts to post this comment. Lumo is fine. Unless you want to be stuck is a metal cage of your own emotion for 4.5 hours take another service. We can put a man on the moon, have WiFi on planes and these guys are still stuck in the dark ages.

Some additional facts for you. Digwell viaduct was built using about 16 million bricks and it has foundations as deep as it is high due to the marshy ground around the River Mimram and the flood plain which the viaduct crosses. When Queen Victoria came to the area shortly after the viaduct was opened she declined to ride in a train across it. Instead she disembarked from the royal train at Hatfield (then the nearest station south of the viaduct) and the Royal Carriage and horses took her to Welwyn station (now called Welwyn North) - pausing to look at the viaduct from ground level on the way. The Welwyn tunnels which come straight after the viaduct, were the scene of an accident when two goods trains (one a coal train) collided in the tunnel in 1866. Two train crew members were killed and two others injured. The resulting fire burned for 8 days before anything could be done to clear the line. This incident made the Great Northern Railway desire to build a second route around that area to keep traffic flowing to the north in any future emergencies. However, due to financial constraints they didn't actually do that until the 1920s when the Hertford loop was finally built (Wood Green to Cuffley, then to Hertford North then rejoining the main line between Knebworth and Stevenage).

Been reading nothing but bad reviews about this sim, on Steam. Is this a good sim or not? The fact that this is being tried out by a real train driver is persuading me to go for it. This adds something more to the simulation. Just a thought. I wonder why schools don't introduce computer simulations into their coriculum? I am sure that the kids would really gain something from them. And may even want to take up a career as a train driver, or a car mechanic { Car Mechanic Simulator} or a Formula One Driver? I{ Geoff Cramonds, Formula One, Formula One 24} n fact, any subject that can be made into a sim would, I feel, really add something to lessons and possible future careers.

Enjoyed the video and the scenic views. I'm surprised the route taken is still used. It would be a lot more sensible to take avoid Motherwell and head over vua Bellshill, Shotts and Livingston, especially since that line was recently electrified.
