It’s a fun Dlc and I adore ground combat, very tired of floating in the air. I wish it was implemented in the base game and switched between ground and flying battles. On another note, I’m not usually one to complain about difficulty in this game as you can usually spam well timed bursts to eat hits, but I’m not a huge fan of vegetas moveset when you fight him in ss3. He spams the hell out of barrages and big bang attack, arguably the strongest AOE in the game, and he is programmed to use this 15 second long combo after every attack nearly. It’s just insane how people complain about raditz and dodoria lol
The ground mechanic was definitely a nice addition to the game and it was good to see both fighting types in the DLC but ground fight just had to many restrictions for me and space was one of them. I would've of like to of had more room to fight, be able to transform and change my skill load out. Normally I'm positive about added content to Kakarot but seeing how this was their 6th installment and it fell SO short compared to previous dlcs, I had to be honest about my review. Pertaining to the raditz, dodoria and Vegeta spam, it's true but I actually liked Vegeta's because it was one of the ways where it made him more challenging. But there needs to be more of an overhaul to the combat system where they shouldn't have to spam specials or have 15 second long combo. I really appreciate the response though bro, thank you!
The only thing I hate about this DLC is I can only play as Goku like bro why as Vegeta Piccolo hell even Goten and trunks since they aren’t kids anymore I’ll love a goten date side mission
Me and you both feel the same way, it could have been similar to goten's first date during the baby saga just to give us a little bit more content, especially into characters that have developed over the years to get a more overall experience from the DLC. My main thing was out of all the progression that Vegeta made over the 10 years to me his was more important than Goku's because he was behind Goku at the end of the boo saga clearly and I would have loved to have seen his progression level all the way up into that point.
To be fair they did change EoZ Goku's combo animations, added a new version of the Kamehameha for this dlc and the main game to be unlocked, and introduced a new movement mechanic called Dragon Flash. Which seems to be perfect for getting around attacks without having to dash msnually.
Yeah, you’re absolutely right but they were minor upgrades, what they gave him just wasn’t enough. This is EOZ Goku. The combos that they gave him just wasn’t on par with main story Goku. I just expected a lot more from Goku, beginning to end, with this being EOZ. I know that they gave him two moves which were different from the others which I did mention at the end of the review but they could’ve done a lot more. I’m a big fan of dragon flash, I think they should give it to all the Z characters in the main story. I really appreciate you sharing your opinion and the extra info. Thank you!
No one expected anything from this DLC it was the end of Z just one episode to end the series Goku taken uub to train and that's it if anything we should be saying why did they even bother with this part of the story when it has nothing to offer they could have gone to the super area but I guess they want to keep this game about Z only
Good point! But we can't say that's it's all about Z, when the first two DLCs were super. The problem that they have is giving us content we aren't looking for nor desire. If they were really pressed about staying with z they should of went with the movies, like Broly. This saga has no place in a dlc, but if your going to do it then don't right. Take trunks dlc for example, no one wanted it but they did it anyway and it was well done. They should of learned from that.
@@OhNoNotAnotherReviewer They didn't really touch super at all if you think about it they did Battle of Gods movie which is called Dragon Ball Z as well as Resurrection of F, for the trunks I wouldn't say nobody wanted it, it has a lot of content especially after they revealed in the manga how he handled in his timeline the buu saga and it turned out to me at least one of the best DLC in terms of story and impact, trunks timeline is pretty much better and has more impact because there are no dragon balls to fix every mistake, but with your other points I totally agree they could have done broly or even cooler, i would even take Slug over this
FACTS! Those were Z movies. From what the rumors are in a leaks the next DLC pack for season pass 3 is supposed to be super but we will have to wait till later on this year to find out. As far as the trunks DLC it was just weird going from a continuation in the series to jump in all the way back to pull his"special"out the vault when it was so many other movies that they could have done or directions they could have went. Me personally I actually think the trunks DLC was really good especially the boo saga which never had any episodes. They took it and made something great out of it. I was super excited for this DLC but I have to say that this season pass has been overall average, it peaked with the Piccolo Jr Arc but this DLC Drags it back down. I feel the lack of original additions and playable characters truly lessen what in all honesty could’ve been a great story and even greater DLC. On a side note, I really would love a Goku Jr DLC. Adapting his OVA Special and his Fight with Vegeta Jr at the end of GT + GT Goku’s final goodbye. If brushed up on and there’s a decent amount of side content and worthwhile combos/skills it would be an amazing DLC
Yeah the season pass started off bad with CHOOSING Bardock. The Bardock was dlc was actually pretty good when you dive into. The tournament dlc was nice just too short. So with the last dlc it was either going to make or brake the season pass 2, and it broke it as a whole for me, just not worth $40. Quite a few ppl like Goku and Vegeta Jr and would love to see them in a dlc. I would like to see the tournament if it was uninterrupted by buu. To see how it would of played out and faught with Goten, trunks,Vegeta and Goku. So they should consider doing so what it dlcs as well

I didn't even think about the memories part for other characters, that's a good one. I think that would have been a nice place to insert them. I was really 2nd guessing my Review, but I just could not get over the how much they missed the mark with dlc. I normally try to be positive and I did enjoy this dlc for the most parts but man it could have been way better.

I can agree with that to a degree. We seen that exact thing in season pass 1. Overall season pass 2 is good, their choices is just weird! Rumor is, SUPER is suppose to be the next season pass, let’s hope for improvements moving forward.

I actually liked this dlc. It was ok it could of been better but for what it was it was decent. The thing that saved it for me was the final battle with Vegeta. This is one dlc where I will level up my character to max, search every area and get the most out of it. Enjoyed the review though, 🫡

Listen I would’ve been fine with pan being playable but give us other characters Uub should’ve been playable.
