Freeze frame anywhere from 0:00 to 0:15 - I've used both Gillette and Schick. Now what I'm commenting on is cross-compatibility. I've used women's Venus razor heads, Mach 3, several Gillette razor heads (both for men and women) over the decade and never had to change my Gillette stick handle. What I want you folks to look at is the Schick handle's 2 prongs. Notice that one side is larger than the other. This caused me problems with my Schick Quattro titanium 4 razor heads because they require both prongs to be thin. Apparently Schick handles come in at least 2 varieties - if you ever want to switch to/from Quattro, please take note. Take care.

Nice video. I imagine you have shaved with these cartridges by now. Did they hold up as genuine Hydro 5 carts?
Hi Jesse, yes held up perfectly. I'm confident they were genuine.
For clarity, if you buy now, you're likely to get a different looking blade, as Wilkinson Sword have changed the blade. Most obvious difference is the gel strip, which has wider sections of gel than before. The newer blade doesn't last as long to my way of feeling, I have however challenged Wilkinson Sword on this, and they sent me a pack directly which had the same drag factor, so I'll be interested to see if others are less impressed with the newest blade type. The model in the video was great, and lasted ages.

I was wondering more as a general curiosity given that I've read about a lot of cases of counterfeit Gillette blades for sale on ebay and Amazon, and I wondered if that issue of counterfeits would extend to Wilkinson Sword/Schick products as well. Seems to be a mixed bag; I think I will stick to purchasing at the shop to be safe.

Hi Jesse, I know that feeling well, I used to feel the same. I imagine there are counterfeits for everything that is popular, which will include Wilkinson Sword consumables. The price difference got me too interested, and I felt the Amazon guarantee would enable a refund if it turned out they were counterfeit. I've only bought from the Venture Blue seller on Amazon. I'm not in any way affiliated with them, but would recommend to try them or another seller that seems to be well reviewed if you find yourself interested. I know ebay have a guarantee, but I feel it's worth paying a little extra with Amazon and getting their guarantee personally.

Wilkinson hydro 5 ,this in the video is the best razor for my head! Very smooth shave.and very glide.it fantastic. I prefer Wilkinson sword hydro 5,Gillette fusion proglide no,but proshield flexball is good razor.for my head the first is wilkinson hydro 5!👍🏻
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Daniele. Yes I moved over from Gillette too, and feels it definitely gives a better shave. I believe the blades last longer from me too, although the handle has got tired much faster than my Gillette ones did!

Another fantastic razor is Gillette fusion skinguard, with only 2 blades.is for sensitive skin.but very smooth head shave or face.no razor burn,ingrow hair.it superb.ver glide .with oil avocado, aloe vera,vitamin e.with one cartridge 8 head shave and 4 face shave.now for my head I use hydro 5,and skinguard.
