I've been using the Presto 16 Quart Pressure Caner for 2 years. Now I'll tell you if it's any good and if you should buy it. I just requested a canner for mother's Day. So, many choices and sizes... Now I wonder why 16 QT only can pints

What is the liquid capacity for pressure cooking? Usually I hear people say to not go over 2/3 of the pot.

16 quarts is the maximum fill line. But we all know that pressure cookers are not meant to function at full capacity. If you put 16 quarts of liquid in a 16-quart pressure cooker, it will explode. What is the maximum level at which the 16-quart pressure cooker can be filled? It cannot be 16 quarts. @@pastorchrismullis
