- Continued work on my Trackspec radiator installation. In this video, I make block-off plates to force all air through the radiator, since I'm not running the AC condenser.

Can you get Trackspec to build these ? This is a great idea, instead of using duct tape every where.
I know they are considering a custom shroud that includes built in block-off and an opening for the airbox. I don’t believe it’s been designed yet, though.
Nice work. Did you re use the factory upper shroud? I’m thinking of deleting mine not sure if it will affect the cooling.
Yes, I used the factory upper shroud. I’ve seen one racer make his own shroud and use silicone to get a tighter seal and force all air through the radiator. He also removed the factory fans and replaced them with a 14” fan to keep it cool enough at idle in the pits but allow more air through at speed. His coolant temps run lower, so I’m putting that (replacing fans) on my list as something to try.
very nice. i need to replace the foam on mine. do you use anything to get air to yourself in the car?
I don’t. Some folks run a naca duct at the window and port air to their helmet.
