You just resolved my problem and saved me a lot of time and potentially money.
I am a ps plus premium subscriber and While I had a slow connection started downloading spiderman miles morales. It sent me the email and registered me as an owner of game but due to bad connection my ps5 couldn't start downloading. After that I restarted the router and connection was fixed but I couldn't download the game seemingly because the server or my ps5 were assuming I had downloaded the game and it was in my library but when clicked download it didn't do any thing just endless loading animation; at the same time I could download other games just couldn't download this one! Reseting license didn't help but when I put my ps5 in sleep mode and used my phone to download the game to the console, after turning the console on I saw that it had already started the download.

This is just a mess. I had to buy a gift card twice just to purchase a membership for PS PLUS because I had to add the funds by code smh plus had to spend more than I wanted but at least have $10 in my wallet.

Clearly it's a big issue. It happens through the PlayStation Mobile app to me all the time, like Sony doesn't want to make money. Clearly it's a big issue and it's been recently, not in the past so you'd think they'd have fixed it by now 😡

What worked for me, was going into my settings, then - system - systemsoftware - updates for systemfunction. just click on it, and if it says updates are available, then update it. I have seen countless solution videos but none of them worked for me. Only this one
