Found a new favorite artist today. Glad I was able to find this video so I could watch the performance a couple more times. Love how Janelle pulled us in and took us on a 3m vibe.
I liked a few of her songs before but her most recent album solidified me as a fan. I had to go see her in concert and it was the best! Check out her outside lands performance. After watching that, I bought my ticket😂

You missing out big time, check out her whole discography its seriously a trip, from the Audition to Metropolis to the Archandroid to Electric Lady to Dirty Computer and her newer stuff the age of pleasure she is a genius!!! Every single song of everyone of those albums is a masterpiece
Janelle got Prince's respect and even wrote a song with him. That is all you have to know. Also, listen to Dance or Die. Ahead of her game but love that she's relatively underground. Enjoy!

DCNEW YEAR Rockin Eve introduced songs & artists that I missed. I’ve never heard those by Janelle Monae, Jared Leto, cardi b , Jelly Roll and I LOVE IT.
Loved the Rockin Eve 2024 edition and they need to put in New Jeans Super Shy and then 1am EST 10 pm PST 3pm Korea/Japan Time ETA performance. Those were my favorites of the night.
Normally I can't stand Janelle Monae, but this wasn't bad, I was singing and dancing along with this.
