    Iv had mine for 3 years with no problems. I really like it a lot. Whenever I have a question I get in touch with their customer support and they help me. I use a 15” with a tire. I put the parameters first and then I go to calibration mode. For the money you can’t beat it. The instructions suck but it’s not difficult to figure it out. Nice video though. Really appreciate it. Thanks

    Great instruction video. Thanks.
    Could you do a video describing how to use the ALU function? Could you do a video describing how to use the OPT (optimization) function?

    The instructions call for a 15" wheel with tire?

    • @bustedstudgarage
      @bustedstudgarage  Před 6 měsíci +2

      For calibration use 13" to 18" steel wheel without tire. Thanks for watching !

    • @remital6834
      @remital6834 Před 4 měsíci +1

      I believe the 15" steel wheel and mounted tire for calibration is for the Mayflower balancer

      The manual seems to indicate wheel only, but its poorly translated so who knows. Thanks for watching !@@remital6834

    Bought a combo tire machine and balancer The tire machine is excellent and I would buy again and recommend. The balancer is a TOTAL pile of inaccurate junk! Balance the tire and take it off and recheck the balance again or just loosen the spindle nut and re clock the wheel on the spindle and check balance again and it will no longer say zero. I called Justin at Mayflower ( same machine as yours just a different name) he is the guy that sold it to me on EBAY and he says the machine is working like it should and I need to quit rechecking balance because it is supposed to work that way. I don't think he understands much about his machines or how things work. Please give this a fair test by double and triple checking and let us know.

      Sorry you had a bad experience. I agree with you about Justin at Mayflower, the machine should repeat to zero when the wheel is re-checked. Ours had that issue before we calibrated, then it was ok after calibration. I think we will try your scenario when we do a full review in the future. Thanks for watching !

      I have a atlas wb 11 tire machine. When I zero out tire and wheel with weights and re clock it 180 degrees it shows it needs 1/4 oz more weight , this is after calibrating it. I assume its normal. ....At first I was chasing weights but after calibration it zeroed out easily.

    • @bustedstudgarage
      @bustedstudgarage  Před 5 měsíci +1

      I think that's quite good. According to Hunter who makes the Road Force machines 1/4 oz is acceptable.@@stephenmiley5804

      I bought the Mayflower combo as well. I seem to have my balancer working pretty good (as far as I know...because the machine says it's balanced but is it?). I am able to repeat and get the same results. Once I bolted the unit to the concrete and got comfortable with chucking up the wheels my results are more consistent. I also balanced a wheel on the Mayflower, brought it over to Mavis for a balance and it was 1/2 oz off on the inside, according to their Coats machine, I asked them to check it on their other balancer and it zeroed out. I asked a lot of questions and I have gotten mixed information. They told me never do a Self Calibration, just a Factory Calibration. Very contradicting to the manual.

    Why can't you use any 3.50 wheel weight for calibration, or can you.

    • @bustedstudgarage
      @bustedstudgarage  Před měsícem +2

      Good question. It would probably work ok, I was going by what the manual says to do. 3.50oz is equal to 99.2g so its a bit off. Maybe within tolerance, I don't know. The thing is from China so is probably designed with metric units as the basis for calibration. Thanks for watching !

      @@bustedstudgarage Yeah, that is what I thought I ordered so 3.50 oz weights look almost like the one you get with hope they work, I broke mine thank you for the reply.

    Can you set the balancer to put the wheel weight in the inside only??

    • @bustedstudgarage
      @bustedstudgarage  Před 8 dny

      Yes that's the ALU2 mode. Thanks for watching!

    • @RanchoTomate
      @RanchoTomate Před 8 dny

      @BiancaJackson-dm8hp If you want only one weight on the inside you can use the static mode. That's how I do motorcycle wheels.
