      ​@@crowkid5553 There are also problems with the song. In my opinion it is very repetitive and has a silly melody... it is not the best if you compare it with the rest of the music they have. It's definitely not a bad song, but I wouldn't consider it if I were one of them. Also, recording this song had to be so traumatic that I don't even want to imagine, I would probably bury it in the desert if I were John Lennon hahaha.

      Sorry, this is not torturing. This is a kind of cabaret or Vaudeville song and the rest of the boys wasn´t really used and skilled playing stuff like that. So Paul had no other choice than to lecture them.

      @@michael-dr3dj. I am. I never thought about Beatles music being John’s, Paul’s, George’s or Ringo’s song. They were Beatles songs. Of course someone in the band may not have liked one as much as the others but it should not diminish the song. I think it was an advantage having grown up at a time when information about the band was not readily available. It ruins my concept of them being a cohesive group.

    Every Beatle but Paul hated this song the most, and recording it was a nail in the coffin! Ringo stated this was the worst memory of recording that the ever had . It would be too soon if he ever heard it again!

    I just watched Paul on James Corden's Karaoko in Cars. It is such a blast from the past. Especially when they drive does Penny Lane and go inside Paul's childhood flat where he and John wrote "SHE Loves You Ya Ya Ya" and Paul's Dad wanted to change it to YES YES YES! So good.

      PAUL died in a car crash 11/09/66. THAT is Billy Campbell, from Beatles look alike band. He did go through some chin and facial surgery, which he HID for years with his beard.

    This is one of a long list of Pauls Granny type music, other examples are, Your Mother Should Know, When I'm 64, Yesterday and with Wings, You Gave Me The Answer & English Tea; This kind of music is a throw back to the 1920s & 30s, bouncy numbers of what seem to be from a bygone age. Yep he can turn on a penny & write the likes of Maybe I'm Amazed, Live & Let Die, something for everyone. . .

    This is one phenonemal band . It is a pleasure watching take bits and pieces of the song and putting it together and once they get it together it is magic in the air and the sound that comes from them is absoutley amazing . LOVE THE BEATLES SO MUCH.RINGO JOHN AND GEORGE DID NOT LIKE THIS SONG BUT PAUL KEPT PUSHING THEM AND WHEN THEY FINALLY GOT IT TOGETHER I REALLY LIKED THE SONG.

    This song was a precursor to what Paul was going to produce in his solo career. Fun, lightweight pleasant but very shallow. Kind like a better version of the Monkees. He succeeded.

    I heard this song caused the band to fight a lot.... Paul's too much of a perfectionist.... George had some really great idea's, but Paul wouldn't even consider, since Paul didn't like George's previous idea of wanting to repeat a faux echo chorus after Paul's vocals on "Hey Jude"....look how fed up Ringo looks... wow
