Nice find for $6, I think the current prices are over hyped, there are way better cameras for mich less.
But the market price is dicatated by supply and demand economics.
I picked up a Yashica T2 for £10 which basically has the same lens system.
Wish I could come across a camera like that for $6

I really want this camera bit i can't see myself paying that much for it. There are point and shoot cameras that have the same quality but a way cheaper price.

I picked up an Olympus stylus at goodwill for 7.99. Images have been super high quality, and while maybe not a T4, they are perfect for me. I’m not a pro, but I enjoy film point and shoots for family vacations and memories. So I think it depends on why you want a point and shoot. I have an Olympus Trip 35 that beats the pants off all my plastic point and shoots though and I paid maybe $30 for it...

Hi! Do u have issues with the camera draning its battery when it is off ?
I didn't when I had it. Unless I'm using the flash all the time. That drained it quickly.

Just receive my yashica t5 ( same camera just the EU name basically ) for 50 bucks , I have a t4 too. I upgraded because of that waist level viewfinder which is nice for the sneaky shot, but yeah there still good deal to be find. But yeah 6$ is pretty insane
Believe it or not, I got mine yesterday on a gipsy bazaar for $3 USD. The guy that sold me the camera was pretty old and he didn’t know what he had.

The photos shown did not do the camera justice. Is it worth 400+? Probably not. Remember this camera was catered to the prosumer when it came out. And even back then it was expensive.
Terry Richardson shooting magazine spreads on it is why it’s expensive... even though he’s been called out for sexual assault, and is no longer part of the fashion photography world (as far as I know anyway..) the prices never went down. I think the T4 was one of the first examples of a cheap p&s camera becoming overpriced because of celebrity use. Definitely wouldn’t pay more than $20 for one.
You should be arrested for having bought it at that price.
