Alright just to remind you all since alot of people forget for the love of god verify your steam files so that the game acknowledged the changes you made

Alright good news I've found the issue of why t happens after a while when you've fixed and played the game , if your on Nvidia and have updated your drivers it'll reset the vulkan files leading to the game being back to its broken phase

It didn't work for me :/ I did everything step by step except that I sent the files to the trash and I didn't delete them for the safety of my pc, but nothing worked for me :c.. I still can't play this game.
After deleting did you run the vulkan installer

Try deleting the rockstar games folder in your documents after doing this process worked for me

If it worked the first time but isn't working again you need to repeat what I did and then verify your steam files
well i think its because of the mods because whenever i try to launch the game without mods it doesn't but if i did use mods it launches
It’s actually because of updating nvidia drivers every time you update them your Vulcan files are replaced with new ones which for some reason crash the game so you have to do the things I said
yeah didnt work for me sadly guess rockstar must have messed something up last time they updated it because it was working fine last month
It happened to me a week ago I fixed it by deleting the files I stated ,then running the vulkan installer try it again with disable fullscreen optimization
@@theogshaz ok it's working now what I have done is all the steps in your video (without the run as admin option) the then verified the game files before launching the game must verify the game files before running it

I did this, it worked for me, but on the next day RDR again started crashing without any error. Suggestions?
For me it only happens when I log out of the account or play anything else on steam unfortunately the vulkan files get updated when you play a different game your gonna need to fix this again for it to work

I don't own a Macbook but it should work with the tutorial I've given since it depends on your vulkan files
Can you upload the vulkan sdk 1.3.204 installer? It has been removed from the vulkan website
EDIT: 1.3.216 also works
I uninstalled the game a while ago after finishing it , so i dont have the file’s anymore sorry

Didn't work. This was the most complex solution I found after hours trying several things and still nothing. I give up. This Rockstar Launcher serves no purpose besides pissing people up. I bet a pirate version will work better than the original on Steam.
It might work with that i forgot to add that you need to verify the steam files after doing this

Well this may be a final hail Mary but goto the games local file and right click on play rdr2 and rdr2 and go to their properties over their click on run as administrator and disable fullscreen optimization
