You need to watch the interval with 'song number 13', absolute genius
As a swede, I voted for this today. I absolutely love the song, but the staging is superb. There is alot of talk that they are norwegians, but honestly, I don't care. They gave absolutely everything here, and the emotion they showed after winning just shows how much they wanted to win it. No matter how it goes in Eurovision, I am proud of them.
As a Norwegian I feel so close to Sweden I sometimes don't feel our differences. We're as close as they come and of the same heritage.
Totally agreed! ❤ people don’t know that they live in Sweden and work in Sweden. They have their base here and are signed to a Swedish record company. Their entire team is Swedish. I find it incredibly disrespectful to read all the disturbing comments just because they are from Norway. It would never be as controversial if it was another non-european ethnicity.
Yeah and to me as a Swede , Norway is same as us 😂❤
@@Ita.Paperwhiteis agree as a Swede ❤
It's all staging, the song has nothing but a monotone beat any AI could do these days. Mainstream rubbish and certainly very, very forgettable.
As a Norwegian i am very proud that they represent Sweden🎉🤩❤️The song is good, and i like the staging🤩🤩😍😍🇳🇴🇸🇪
You have to see the interval act called " Björnzone " . A new song with some of our famous male singers and actors. That was the real winner 😉
Love it, personally it gives me The Weeknd vibes. Very slick, very Swedish and the staging is phenomenal! However Jacqline and Dotter were INCREDIBLY robbed and I was really dissapointed seeing them so low in the results
Agree on everything
They're Norwegian. 😎🖤👍
@@lifewriter7455Half swedish.
@@widebobo5877 well, there's two of them... 😂😂
@@lifewriter7455 even if there were a hundred of them collectively they'll be half and half.....
Love noosh! Great reaction!
Sweden is like Ukraine they know haw to deliver? I really like the boys absolutely amazing love the dancing skills perfect for Eurovision ! 12 points from Poland 🇵🇱👏😁
I love that it actually has more rave than other entries this year claiming to have it
M&M are so nice and good role models. No tattoos, no scandals, no drugs etc. They are good examples that a nice guys can also the successful in the music industry. You don’t need to be copycat of Justin Bieber to success.
“No tattoos” lol
😂No Tattoo😂
Since when is that a sign of bad role model?
Why Dotter came last? My theory is : she was hurt the most because of the running order , she went right after M&M and .. well , it hurt her badly !!
I was there in Friends Arena and .. when they performed , the arena exploded !!
Love this, will be in my top 5 for sure. Really don't get the hate, this was by far the best package
Perhaps. But the selection was really bad. A bunch of soulless plastic pop numbers. Even the metal and country songs were flat and boring. Everything sounds like it was written and produced by just one person (technically that's not wrong at all - "Joker" Thörnfeldt seemed to be everywhere). The show was great, but the songs were bad. And it gets worse every year in Swedish NF.
@@JochenSchoenherrnah
@@JochenSchoenherr Good thing about this is that people can agree to disagree. Like I do:)
This is my new number one ❤
This year was incredibly competitive.
Usually there are only like one or two decent songs.
But this year I would have been happy with like 7 different songs in the final to represent Sweden.
We need a karaoke series of the Eurovision entries!! 🤩
M&M have finally done it. I know Singa is super popular in Sweden so im sure theyll be getting tons of karaoke plays 😂🎉
I love your reaction so much, Noosh! I couldn't agree with you more. Ahhh, so happy they are going to Eurovision!
Such a goooood track. ❤ And yep, Eurovision karaoke parties with Singa are the best. 🎙️
Norway have 2 entries this year! Just amazing! 🇳🇴🔥
Lmao but that's true 😂😂🩷
Spain as well 😂
Honestly the performance of Dotter this night was….. okay ?? I guess. Unfortunately she didn’t impress me a lot but vocally it was good 👍🏻
Still.... didn't deserve to be last....
I do not really get why she got so bad result at all. For me Smash into Pieces was the clear winner.
The show actually was such a good watch and even though majority of the contestants perforned perfectly and were great, this just stood out against the crowd and was soo explosive. This years becoming full party central and i cant wait 🥳
czcams.com/video/2NXgqFbfrd8/video.htmlsi=mVHN--nm5hCIFrYL has anyone else yet noticed the similarities between the string solo and themes in Faithless' Salva Mea from 1995 in this version of it? Both are sounding great though.
Yup, they basically just play the first half of the riff and loop it, and in the same key as well. On the final chorus, there are even the same pizzicatto string octaves.
Finally... someone said....
Im swedish and im so happy that you like it :)😊
This performance is so good!! And so is the song
You should react to Björnzone (its an interval act supposed to look like a performance competing) and is a parody of a certain type of 90s music I think you'll like
love this song so much its so catchy and banger sure top 5 matriaal in the final 12 points from the netherlands to sweden
I think it is beautiful that they got their very first international fame in Sweden as teenagers and now they are going to represent us in Eurovision as adults! It is great as well that they got tons of fans all over Europe and are very charming which is good for interviews. It is funny that they came second when Loreen won and now Loreen basically gave the trophy to them. This was not my favorite song but I'm very happy for them since it means a lot to them, they even cried when they won. I expect nothing less than 12 points from Norway this year haha. Some people joke that we have officially adopted them now! I think people just gave up giving votes to the others and just voted for M&M and that is why Dotter came in last place.
Congrats to Marcus and martinus and it’s a party disco hit and it’s a club party for melmo and it’s a matrix computerised and electronic vibe at the beginning and nearly at the end and it’s a booper from Geoff
I was rooting for Jacqline so hard, cause that song was an absolute banger and her performance was absolutely stunning! Dotter was also one of my faves, because I love her as an artist bu the song was meh. "Unforgettable" is definitely the most Swedish song they could have sent. I just wish Sweden would take a risk every now and then and show us something new. Other than that I am happy for the boys :)
Good song. Looks like thé week-end
I have very mixed opinion about Sweden's final. I watched it and, don't get me wrong, the contestants were amazing. Top tier vocals, staging at its finest, great show. But throughout the whole show I had weird feeling I heard this somewhere else. Like, Swedish House Mafia, is that you? 😂 Of course I am fully aware that Sweden is known for being 'the powerhouse of music'.
I personally prefer songs for ESC that are not just your typical radio songs (even if perfectly produced and delivered), but I understand why people love them.
I loved Norway's entry from 2019, KEIINO - Spirit in the sky, because it was not only catchy, nice pop song with great vocals (female singer, Alexandra, I love you!) but it also had great message and Saami's culture representation, which was amazing to find out (unfortunately in my country we are not much taught about minorities).
I wish Sweden sent something more... swedish next time ;)
This is my nr 1, will vote Sweden. ❤ from Finland
Thank you Sweden - hvilket show
Såå fine sange
Om jeg skulle vælge, alle jeres sange var fine💙🇸🇪🇪🇺🇩🇰
Your The best
But as granne
Får jeg jo holde på Danmark 🇩🇰♥️😍🇸🇪💙
Kommer bli så kæmpe fint i Malmø🇪🇺🇸🇪👌🏽💙♥️
Gratis M&M💯💙🇸🇪
They already famous
They are great. And very popular in Sweden. They could have won with any song❤
Many of you from the ESC fandom seem to think this ESC year is exceptional good. I’ve listen and listen over and over again (I like growers) to the ESC songs but to me this year is even weaker than normal (didn’t think that was possible). I can only conclude that your (ESC fandom) quest for avant-garde music is not for me!
I’m from Sweden so I like radio friendly music as long as it is creative, genuine, authentic, raw and (as my Swedish mentality) preferably melancholic! Most of this years ESC songs are just not for me! One huge exception though - Gåte! I got goosebumps all over when I heard her sing! Must be my Viking ancestry! Go Norway 🇳🇴!
Agreed. I think this year is really weak…
Pls Noosh. Listen to song number 13. It is a masterpiece!
So should we vote for Norway or Norwegian twins this year in Eurovision?
😂you’re funny
Hva med å kombinere?🎉
Norway
Both... 😂
@@Catyswitzerland They are Norwegian, so I'd say it's a completely legit question! (I'd go for the twins any day of the week. b.t.w)
This song is Salva Mea from faithless
Right fron the start it gives me "Faithless"-Vibes. The similarity of the instrumental part to "Salve mea" by Faithless cannot be denied (czcams.com/video/f2CAMBQENQA/video.html - 0:48 on). Though the song is a banger and I have it on constant repeat.
their staging is just absolutely amazing, this is probably a sure top 5 contender! 🫶🏻🇸🇪
Fun fact: Swedish born Elisabeth Andreassen won eurovision with Norway in 1985, Norway born Anni Frid Lyngstad won eurovision with Abba in 1974. Marcus and Martinus is 100% Norwegian and if they should win eurovision with Sweden that would be something new.
E.Andreassen er født i Sverige av norske foreldre.
Elisabeth Andreassen was born to Norwegian parents and has lived in Sweden and Norway. Plus her other singing partner was 100% Norwegian, can’t remember her name right now 🫣.

I think M&M winning was pretty predictable. They were strong last year, but Loreen is such a mammoth. This year was more even and they really cranked up the show.
My favorites were M&M, Jacqline, Cazzi and Maria Sur. A bit unhappy about Jacqline and Maria's placement, but Cazzi broke Top 5 and people really like her so I'm happy with that. She's such a likeable person. I also think it's good for the competition that acts like Medina and Smash Into Pieces place high so we continue to have variety in Mello.
About Dotter, well it's hard to say. I think it was an unusually strong final with many different flavors of music. There wasn't really any bad entrants in the finals and someone has to come last. I appreciate Dotter doing her own thing and sometime it vibes instantly with people, sometimes it doesn't.
as a Swede i liked Liamoo and smash into pieces but M&M was good too
How come Sweden needs help from Norway? 😄😄
More like norway needs help from Sweden ;) we have better producers and writers
I think it's the opposite actually. Marcus and Martinus chose Sweden over Norway because it's better for their goals and their careers. Sweden has a bigger music industry you know..
@@Demelza7_7I hate to agree but you are correct. 😢 It’s them branching out to make it international. They are still very young so it’s a smart move to make.
Dotter at last place is pretty insane, i don't know what to believe in anymore when it comes to melodifestivalen. The song that won is pretty forgettable.
Super dance song No1 winner sweden
no change in a million years, Norway
I like it but dont you think the instrumental melody sounds like Faithless - Salva Mea?
we are very proud Norwegians representing Sweden with the clever Norwegian twins who are super good at singing and dancing. One of my favorites and much better than the Norwegian song which I don't like .Good luck Sweden .
M&M staging mimicked Loreen's show. Both shows are between giant screens, walls of light, but in Loreen's case the walls were horizontal, this one had vertical walls. In both shows, the level gap was narrow at first, then it widened.
It’s more like Benjamin Ingrosso’s show from Eurovision
Can songs without a proper chorus die already? Frick empty club drops
😎👌🏻🇸🇪
Dotter was like a copy of Loreen from 2023. It was not feeling fresh and new at all.
Faithless - Salva Mea, anyone? I really like the song, but I don't know how to feel about the main hook of the song being a 1:1 copy of a song made 28 years ago.
Songs will always be a copy of another song.
@@linahansson42 Ultimately yes, but this is blatant.
Yep 100% i thought so straight away
Absolutely. I heard it for the first time and immediately knew where it was stolen.
@@JochenSchoenherrStolen.. Bla bla...
I dont think they sent the best vocal singers. But maybe stage, and lyrics and effects? Idk I’m unsure. But best vocal it wasn’t.
Though wish the best🙏
It dont need to have the best vocals either. Its not that type of song
I heard you very well but I could hardly hear the music at all.
Are you maybe hard of hearing? ♥️ I can hear it fine... plus, if you're here, you've probably already heard the song... so I think everything is ok ♥️
Thank´s for the hearts. No, I have not heard the song but I guess I will at least a hundred times in the coming months : ) Love from Sweden!@@lovemeamerica
not a bad song but a clear copy of Faithless - Salva Mea (album version) : czcams.com/video/7aSVNLYMWjA/video.htmlsi=Zb2Cm0-tKCO_7YUX&t=190
I am a bit disappointed. I like the staging and the song has catchy elements, but the song is generic and their voices aren't that good.
I liked Cazzi (felt quite original and I liked how colourful it was), Dotter (emotive performer, great song, but not perfect tonight), Medina (such a party bop), Maria (catchy and contemporary), Annika (great vocal and anthemic) and Jacqueline (she was truly effortless)
swedish house mafia was part of the team that made this song..
???
Makes sense as it sounds like it could be one of their songs
I think you have this mixed up with Danny Saucedo's song "Happy that You Found Me" that was made by John Martin (co-writer and singer of songs like “Save the World” och “Don’t You Worry Child”), and Michel Zitron who co-wrote those songs.
This song is written by Marcus & Martinus, Joy Deb, Linnea Deb and Jimmy "Joker" Thörnfeldt. They haven't written anything for Swedish House Mafia. Jimmy "Joker" Thörnfeldt was part of the team who wrote "Tattoo", and Joy Deb and Linnea Deb co-wrote Måns Zelmerlöw's "Heroes".
Is that why it's mid?
Wow, this is amazing! Real music in ESC? I mean it sounds actually quite good. Nice... Too bad it's all plagiarism. 😎🖤👍
everyone who said "united by music" but ignore one of the countries just because they afraid of their audience, is the definition of hypocrisy :)
Fun-Fact: Norway will represent Sweden in Eurovision this year.
30km by Larsson was my fav to win or Medina Que Sera but sure Marcus & Martinus is a great entry
M & M are actually Norwegians, so it's really not all that Swedish *hehe* ;)
Fix your sound levels!
Dotter came last because the performance was boring. The song was ok and she sings beautifully, but everyone I have talked to hated the performance, it was slow and nothing happened
I prefer last years entry
Didnt hear anything … u talked over the music
I bet she is obsessed with the Israeli song :)
Marcus & Martinus vs Faithless - Unforgettable Salva Mea (Gauffie Mashup) (snippet) - czcams.com/video/MHUqjicacvw/video.html
exactly!
The best is that Norwegians win the Swedish eurovision compotition. 🤗🇳🇴❤️
when the intro is a half of the video
Anyone else think it's kinda cringe 😬
Copy&paste to Elix - Music Is My Therapy
Why arent you reacting to the Israeli song???
I am sure if song was done by say Poland/ UK/Estonia even Norway (!) etc we'd be talking left hand side of the board. The song has no originality other than the twins, altho Jedward.... I do agree that the staging is great but I'm not sure televoters are keen on the super-slick, emotionless Swedish style - Cornelia and Loreen ditched that and did well, ingrosso, bengtsson(?), tusse and lundvik not so well.
Bengtson and Lundvik still reached top 10 with voters so it was not that bad. And Tusse did better with voters than with juries. Ingrosso did not do well but that was more the exception than the rule
Generic and boring. 😢
Poland o points
Im sorry but can sweden FOR ONCE represent THEIR OWN CULTURE AND LANGUAGE????!!! singing english american songs and being even rewarded for that... sweden last place!!! Learn YOUR OWN CULTURE AND LANGUAGE
This is Swedish Culture. 🎉😂
Remember the swedish entry 2000?
It is Sweden that is making music FOR America, so pop music is our culture. ❤
Sorry but this is very forgettable. So disappointed by Sweden this year. Worst entry in many years. Song is bland and weak it’s just performance.
Top 3 it’s so good
Very average song.
