Beerus told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta. He saw the Saiyans as a threat to the universe. Also, Whis can’t revive people without rewinding time, which he can only do up to 3 minutes at a time. Beerus is on his own planet, and they would have to get to Planet Vegeta, which would take anything from 20 minutes to an hour, which by that time Frieza would have already destroyed it again, and Whis needs some time to recharge his rewind, so Beerus couldn’t save Planet Vegeta, even RIGHT after its destruction. Of course, he wouldn’t save it, that would be stupid.
@@shocck1 Whis literally removed Frieza's Halo and brought him back to life. Be a simple trip to the otherworld for Whis remove a few Halos and there you have Sayians for the ritual. Probably be Gohan, Trunks, Pan (assuming videl is pregnant),Goku, Vegeta and knowing what we know from the Manga you could sub Goten for Bardock, that fails you also have Tarble and Broly out there in the Universe Whis could quite easily collect. The threat of Beerus on Earth could prompt intervention from King Kai and suggest New Nameks Dragonballs to find out about SSG. Again a small errand for Whis, Gohan could easily collect all these. It would then be interesting to see Trunks go down the God Ki path while Gohan sticks to standard Super Sayian perhaps even going to sacred world of the Kais and then having his Ultimate Form as in canon.

EDIT: I have a lot of issues with the Goku vs Frieza fight. There isn't any timeline where Goku stays in the 6 digit range after TWO zenkais like that. That makes no sense whatsoever. It was well known during this saga that his power increases were unusually high. His base form against Ginyu was 90,000, as him going 180K was the Kaioken. After healing in the pod, 3 mil. Even if you argue the beatins weren't even half as bad.. That still puts him in million range without Kaioken.
