Gohan, the saiyan warrior who defeated Cell, now must venture on his own after Goku's passing. However, unlike the original story, Gohan is inspired by Vegeta to continue training and become the strongest fighter in the Z Fighters. I think this is my favorite take on the "What if Gohan kept training" question because it doesn't just make him Goku 2 and still keeps his desire to be a scholar with the book being written over the course of the story

Honestly, I really liked this. It made Gohan train more, but navigated Gohan's character very well. Merging his intellectual side with martial arts, both in terms of making him fascinated with it and using his intelligence in the situations he finds himself in, and having him write a book on martial arts, was honestly brilliant; especially in a way that manages to get Chi-Chi on-board (lol) and enough to want to get Goku to read it.
Makes you wish that Toriyama thought of something like this instead of just turning him into a joke. Obviously, this fanfic is its own thing, but Gohan could have been...much better...

Brohan would honestly be pretty broken I realized. Ultimate + Full Power SSJ... Both Gohan and Broly’s potentials are immense. And this Gohan is training, and Broly has also started training here as well. Like seriously, Brohan could probably be above Gogeta and Vegito.
So far the 2 scariest what if characters I've seen:
This Gohan that combined his love of being a scholar with enjoying the science of fighting (while also consistently training)
And an intelligent goku raised by whis.
I still stand by the theory that Gohan was the Saiyan that Beerus saw in his Dream (it’s either him or Broly) but since he stopped training after the Cell Saga his father had to step up and fight the Lazy God.
Gohan keeping up his training Is just a side story. The main plot is
"Mr satan. The champ gets more powerful"

that was such a kool take on Gohans Story. i loved the training book aspect and how that became his legacy as a teacher to go in hand with his duty as the earth's protector. it gives his personality a yin and yang balance, that is fitting for his character as both warrior and teacher. The BroHan part was a stretch on the name but other then that the story of Gohan, Broly and Trunks becoming friends was really awesome. Vegeta and Gohan becoming the friends and sparing partners was my favorite concept in this fan made arc.

That's the most perfect what if scenario of Dragon Ball I've ever heard in my life.
I love the fact, that Broly in this scenario wasn't that psychodelic guy screaming *KAKAROT!* and instead trains along with Gohan and also the ending that Vegeta wishing for all universes destroyed to be restored instead of his ambitions of becoming immortal, which made him a really wholesome guy.
Gohan seems to be a really smart guy in this alternative scenario and would potentially become the true hero of Dragon Ball series if that ever happened. ^_^

okay how do you do it. not only is the writing seriously better than how it originally played out, but the editing has everything you could ask for short of it all actually being animated. keep up the amazing work best stuff on youtube right here i really think so.
I've watched a lot of dragon ball what ifs from other youtubers, and I'd say the way the story is written is very good but the best part of it is the use of video game fight scenes, anime & many other sources makes the video very immersive. Great job oh creative one 👍

Man you tryina make me cry or sumn with that ending???? Loved it! I always thought Gohan should be more of a hulk with his Grandpa being the Ox King. He was never my favorite character once the Buu arc started, but seeing Gohan as the star in this was really cool and makes me wonder what could have been!

That's it, this is the best Dragon Ball What if I ever watched.
PERFECTION true perfection no other words can begin to describe how this what if is truly a fitting conclusion to the dbz timeline. Gohan being the MC after buu saga, him learning and continuing to become stronger, writes a book surpasses goku while passing on what he has learned to others not to mwntion giving many characters much needed development like kid trunks and goten as well as the kais and the ending was just the icing in the cake.
THAT THUMBNAIL GIVES ME HOPE THAT STEMS FROM A PLACE THAT MAY NEVER HAPPEN!
