Everyone think about this. This is the first good team the warriors have had to face in the playoffs in the last two years. The closest thing they've played to a good team was a broken down grizzlies and cavs squad who were both riddled with injuries. Not to mention that the warriors struggled against a .500 blazers team. They are in trouble this year.

I'm not just talking about this game.. Every time there is an elite PG on the schedule, Curry is nowhere to be found on the defensive end, so that part of things doesn't change. In addition, the part about Curry not attacking Westbrook without the use of screens to free himself is also accurate long term. Yes Curry is a great player, but I'm not judging his defense just on this game. He routinely gets blown by, struggles badly to prevent penetration, and is overpowered in the paint by nearly everyone he plays against. Even MCW bumass was giving him the straight business by just posting him up every time. Jason Kidd literally just called for a clearout so MCW could take Curry 1v1 in the paint, and it's the reason they were win that game. The game in Oakland was similar, only other GS players were able to step up and close. The difference against a team like the Bucks was because they are so long on the perimeter, there was nobody to hide against on D. Who are they gonna put him on, Giannis, Jabari, Kris Middleton? No way

His iso defence is average because that's something that can't be improved.

Screens to force switches and spot up shooting is the only way he gets his points on this team. You are right, I don't expect him to grow 5 inches or get way more explosive.
