Damn this was a good season in the NBA the Warriors went 73-9 people wondering if Steph Curry was the new face of the leauge over LeBron the Cavs being the underdog too when it all Westbrook and Durant prolli on paper were the most talented team in the Nba and matched up with the Warriors perfect went up 3-1 in the conf finals was supposed too win the Spurs won like 67 games balling as usual it was a good 2015-16 season one of the best in a while

Curry is a smarter defender and is better at using angles but if you needed one stop and could choose from either of them I'd go with Westbrook just because of his athleticism and length, he was defensive player of the year in college
@@michaelmoore4245 appreciate your opinion the point but what I feel about defence is its not a positive for point guards to be defensively great simply just having defensive length and athleticism isn't enough for a point guard on defence. Westbrook isn't a competent defender he doesn't switch on or play great team defence although he could in college this was his year to prove why he should even been anywhere near the league and thats why his first year in the league his defence was nowhere near elite level or average because effort and length and athleticism at the point guard position doesnt lead to defence prowess in the nba it's the other intangibles if I wanted a stop at the end of a game I would go to any of my wings Chris Paul a great defender at point guard would never be point in a game winning defensive play however players like John wall who have a completely different effect on defence would but doesnt make him a better point guard just more valuable in varied situations

Tbh OKC could've had this game if they had stronger back-up play (cough cough Payne). The Warriors bench came in and kind of split the game open. OKC did comeback though and I credit them for that but if you look at the tape, it shows young Cam Payne wasn't ready for the limelight just yet.

+VermouthBOSS My opinion: OKC has all the right players to win, the difference between OKC and Warriors is their style of play. In general Warriors play more smart ball, without ego, they get the ball to the open man, which is almost unguardable since they don't force anything and get easy shots. That in combination of having skilled players and 2 of the best shooters ever.

Curry only scored twice on westbrook. Westbrook posted curry up and drained a 3 and hit a jumper. Russell scored more on curry, then curry scored on westbrook. Klay had to guard westbrook, while curry couldn't play one and one against russell he always had to look for moving screens to score.

My only thing is people think Westbrook is a better defender when he isn't, Curry locked up Durant and Lebron both in high leverage playoff moments. Basketball is a two way sport, but even defense and offense splits into two. There are great on ball defenders who actually hurt their teams defensive rating because they don't know how to rotate and switch. There are shitty on ball defenders who are absolutely ball hawks. It's the same in football, not every DB has to be a hard hitter to be a great defensive player. Curry is probably the best ball hawk in the NBA which is why he always gets so many steals. Like the infamous steal on Lebron in this years finals that took Lebrons will to win.
