- Good afternoon my awesome friends. I hope you are having a great week so far. Today's content is a loadout video. in this video I will show you the kit I have put together for this particular bushcraft rucksack. The theme behind the kit is a little bit survival esq and a little bit bushcraft camping esq. I hope you enjoy this video. I have tried to keep this as short as possible for viewers like me with wavering attention spans 😂 please like share and comment on the video, this will help me greatly at no cost to you. farewell my awesome bushcraft buddies and buddets. Stay Crafty 😜 #savotta #bushcraftkit #bushcraftsurvival
It would be interesting if you did a similar video with more affordable alternatives. Everything there was top dollar and not within reach of many folks. Very well presented video.
Hi there thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately I don't really have much budget kit left. As I upgraded I passed all of my other items on to either other bushcrafters starting off or giveaways. If I could raise a fund from my community I would be glad to put a more budget friendly, but quality kit together to show on the channel. I could then give the kit away. I will mention it in an upcoming vid. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
Great gear video! I'm in the beginnings of my own journey into Bushcrafting... This is perfect! Well organized and just what I needed to see to help me get organized too. Thank you.😀
Hey there, welcome to the wonderful world of bushcraft! I'm glad the video was uselfull. Take it easy fella.
Excellent loadout!
Need to see a Corley video soon! 👍
@@awayinthewilderness4319Hopefully soon bro! I’m dealing with a lot of personal issues right now. I’m still able to watch all my CZcams brothers videos though.
Hope everything works out, man!
@@awayinthewilderness4319 thanks bro
Cheers Corley m8. Try not to let the current situation get you down. There are always brighter days ahead bud and at least in the current climate you are not the only one struggling, we are all screwed at the min m8. Take it easy.
Excellent dump, very well thought out. love that rucksack.
Cheers Daniel. Hope you have been keeping well bud.
As robust as candy floss. Best one yet 😅😅. I hope you feel better soon. Thanks for the video.
As robust as candy floss in water 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Egg flipper! Bleedin' dots! Danger of dangly bits in public! This is my sort of bushcraft! That's a serious amount of good kit packed into a brilliant rucksack (out of my price range tho). I also adhere to the "two is one and one is none" mentality and leaving items out is more of a problem for me than putting stuff in. It's a skill, but everyone has their own idea of what is necessary. Great video. Take care, Eddie.
Hey there Edwin hope you are winning sir. I remember my first kit like it was yesterday bud 😂 Home made twig stove and lynx can stove a kickers back pack and any flannel shirt I could find in a charity shop that looked remotely outdoorsy. The most expensive gear I owned was a pair of Timberland boots and a leatherman surge! I made so questionable choices when I started getting good gear! Alot of which was on the never never or I went into debt for! 😂
Well like my mam always said and it's still true - "buy cheap buy twice". It's a learning curve - and with experience comes wisdom. (Blimey I'm in a philosphical mood ..........)@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors
@@edwinmason123 😂 well Mr philosophical the words you speak are the truth 😂 I much like spending my money on heirloom gear now. Have a great day Edwin.
Great content brother. God bless you and your family and happy camping 🏕 🙏 😊. Lee
Thanks for watching my good man. Have a great weekend....almost ;)
nice pack mate 🕊🕊
Cheers buddy.
Hope you feel better soon, may need to bundle up in your wool blanket, enjoyed the upload, first time I actually made a reference checklist from a video to adapt for seasons, good stuff, thanks for sharing
Thank you for stopping by. I'm glad the video was useful for you. A reference list is always handy and something I have done myself in the past. Look forward to the next snowy video of yours. Take care.
Looks nice.
I Just cleaned up my gear becauce i had to much stuf.
Now i see a new stopping list😂
Good load out
😂 yep we are but magpies. Think of all the kits you can build for each day of the week 😂
A bivvy bag for sure a gd bit of kit to add in UK
Good shout indeed and I did actually carry one untill I got the compound hammock from onetigris, but It has a nice little added extra that negates the need of a bivvy.....in majority of cases that is 😂
Awesome collection of kit Steve, thanks for sharing 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey Mark hope you are well buddy. Thanks for commenting pal. Chat soon.
That tong/spork/spatula is mint!
It is a great piece of kit to have with you in the pack. Many times I have forgotten my steak cutlery set and then realised I have the splitter with me so all was good 😂
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors 100%. I’ll be grabbing one for sure.
Nice load out!
Ya mans pouches are very good too. Maxpedition pouches are just too heavy. Maybe pop a link up of the guys shop?

@@leerolfe5332 I can certainly do that buddy cheers.
Hello mate. Don't you just love those moments when your mind goes blank and you can't remember what something is called?...lol
Seems like you've got it all covered man, I look forward to seeing it used in anger.
Be safe and be lucky.
😂 happens more than I let on in the vids m8! Hope you are well Wol m8.
I enjoyed watching this video.
I like seeing a good load out.
Personally I like the Emberlit FireAnt stove. It’s smaller than yours but I like it. And I might carry a Trangia stove to use in it. I’m not partial to compressed gas stoves.
I’ve been building kits since +/- 1983 when I got out of the Corps. Back then we just called it camping 😉
Anyway, you got my subscription. Look forward to watching more videos.
👍🏼👍🏼
Hey there buddy is that the titanium version also? The biggest benefit of that type of stove is it's ultimate flat pack packing ability. It is probably a fantastic performer too! My only gripe with them stoves is having to piece it together manually. I know it's not a big deal, I just find flicking out a stove for use is much more convenient. Thanks for stopping by and commenting buddy. Take care.
Nice gear and kit, Ste. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you have it all covered. Hope you feel better soon! Take care. 👍🏻👍🏻
Hey Jeff hope you are doing well buddy. Thanks for dropping in. Feeling better now thanks m8. Take it easy.
nice kit mate sorted to suit your needs hope your feeling better mate i too have been hit with more bugs this year than ever before
Yeah not much extra. There are some proper crap viruses going about at the min! This Is stuck on my chest now. Probably for weeks again. Cheers Mick take it easy.
Posh kit. Money man.
Alot of the kit is sent to the channel as gifts from kind viewers. Other kit is gear I have worked extra for or saved for. I've built the kit over years. Thanks for stopping by
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors looks like you have some good gear, after trying the higher end stuff, for some reason I end up missing my old heavyweight stuff, I really miss hiking in my old 58 pattern webbing, I must be mental? Keep cranking out the good content.
Haha sorry for the late reply buddy only just seen this. We like what we like! Good gear is good gear at the end of the day regardless of price. Thanks for the kind comment bud. Take it easy.
Great bit of kit Steve think I'll be picking few bits up from the bushcraft show my first show as well been wanting to go for absolute years but never could get the time off bloody work hopefully meet you keep up the great work 👍
Hey Darren thanks for dropping in buddy. I don't think you will be disappointed buddy. I was a good show last year too, just make sure you bring the wife's credit card 😂 be a pleasure to meet you bud. Have a great weekend.
@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors 🤣 too right I'll remember that bit of advice lol 😆. Well hopefully see you there buddy look forward to it 👍 take care buddy
Great load out video Ste!!! Nice mix of kit you have ☺️👍. I just picked up a Stanley Adventure Cup and now am on the hunt for a Nalgene Stainless “Backpacker” bottle that fits inside of it ☺️.
Oh and I’m a southpaw too!!! Lefties unite 👊😁.
The Stanley is a great pot from what I have seen of it. They are definitely a popular piece of kit. Nice one bud.
Another informative video Ste very interesting and enjoyable. It's the job mate that you get all the crap going nice public like nothing better than to sneeze cough and snotter all over you 👍 😉
😂 yep that's so true! Letter boxes, pandemic tests from the collection boxes! Makes you laugh........or poorly 😜😂
Hope you feel better soon.
I kept catching various bugs and my friend asked if I had a subscription.
🤣😂🤣 it feels like that sometimes! I never miss one going about! Cheers for the well wishes 😊
Nice kit! I see you carry the s1x 👍👍 thanks for showing your kit always fun to see what fellow woodsman/outdoorsmen carry in their packs greetings!
Fred
Hey Fred the s1xb is a beast of a blade, but also very capable for other camp tasks. Cheers for stopping by bud. Take it easy.
Very nice kit Ste! My wish list keeps getting longer! 👍
😂 that's the problem with seeing new gear you always want the new gear! 😂
Nice and informative that Ste, cheers. Currently struggling with a virus here too bloody cough hanging on. Will pop and say hello at the show if i see you bud. 👍🏻🔥🙂
Nothing worse than a lingering cough 😷 hope you get rid soon bud. And please do pal. See you there.
Nice loadout bud, can't wait to see it in action 👍
Cheers buddy. Looking forward to getting out with it in the next couple of weeks. Take it easy.
Fantastic pack and kit.
Get well soon fella
All the very best Ste
🤩👊🌟
Cheers buddy. Thanks for stopping by.
Brilliant video as usual staying very active 👏 👍
Cheers buddy glad you enjoyed it 😁
Your kit is well thought out 👌.
Enjoyed watching your content.
❤fellow woodsman 🫡
Thankyou for watching the content I'm glad you enjoyed it 😁 take it easy Mr Woodsman.
Great kit, man! Every time i hear you talk about your other channels that got deleted i always wonder. What exactly happened? If you're okay with sharing that i would love to know what to look out for and anything you've learned that would be a help to newer content creators. That's assuming it was some kind of scam or something. Also I'd love to get some insight into how companies reach out to creators and the best way to go about handling it. Just something I'm starting to think about. Looking forward to seeing some trips of yours with this kit! Get well, bro! 👍
Cheers buddy and that's a great question. I think the answer would be better addressed in a short video for clarity than writing a over lengthy comment here. I will say don't open emails with offers that seem to good to be true and don't rely on the u tube team for support afterwards. I'll do I vid soon. Cheers.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors That would be awesome! Looking forward to seeing it! Take care, bro.
Nice kit geezer … Fully loaded 💪 😂😂 get better soon sir . Good video
Cheers buddy hope you are well pal. Take it squeezy.
I love your setup! Thorough but nothing extra. New subscriber here!
Thank you for your support 😌 Have a great day.
Is that a fyallraven bushcraft shirt??? Love itttt
Hey there It is. It's the singi trek shirt. Great in warmer months. Thanks for stopping by. Take it easy.
Do you use the knife to dig cat holes with ???? Have fun stay safe.
😂 no I just make sure I've been before I go. If I needed to make use of a hole I would just fashion up a digging stick...with the knife. Thanks for commenting. Take it easy.
Right there with you on the hitlist! Great video, equipment list, and killer pad! (Can you spare a link on the groundpad and fleece pillow sack?) You'll need sunglasses at night for that O-light! If you'd like to add a great piece of fire kit, a carpenters pencil sharpener will save your knife blade and save the wax tinder pads. Great little shavings and easy to light!
Hey there buddy here are the links for you gear you mentioned. The sharpener sounds like a good edition to the kit. outhaus.co/ground-cloth-small/

Hope this helps. Thanks for watching the content and leaving a comment. Have a great week ahead buddy. Take care.
All the bases well covered, good kit. 👍🏻what tent/bivvy/tarp combo do you use if you’re not using a hammock?
Hey there, thanks for commenting. If I was camping from my motor I would more than likely use the modded Dutch army tent. It's roomy. I would use my 4x4 dd mc tarp as a shelter for good coverage and probably British army bivvy. Have a great rest of the week. Take it easy.
I have the jungle blanket xl version. Absolutely love it. Goes on all my adventures with me
Hi there. Yeah they are surprisingly warm considering how thin the blanket it is. I will have to check out the XL version I usually go with a snug pack hammock quilt, but It has seen better days now and could do with a new one. Take care.
The sweedish black water canteens and mug where did you buy them from please?
Get them from eBay, military mart and probably Amazon bud. I was corrected in the comments they are actually Swiss not Swedish. Bout £10 each. Cheers buddy.
Nice load out buddy it's always nice to see what other people carry with them can I just ask what the main lead to it is in your main compartment as I'm currently after a new new backpack for bushcraft
Hey there, buddy. Thanks for the comment and question. If I understand your question correctly. The volume of the main compartment is around 55ltr overstuffed to 65ltr. Hope this helps. Take it easy.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors yes that's what I meant sorry about that lol 😂 and thank you for that information brilliant look like I'm getting a new bag
@@carlhatton6315 😄 you won't be disappointed.
That black plastic bottle is Swiss, not Swedish (unless the Swedes use the same, which I don’t know).
You are correct 😆 I have been corrected in the comments, but cheers for the info my geography is useless 😂 cheers.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors You're welcome. No worries.
Whats name is of your double side pillow? Thanks a lot for information
Hey there. They are called stuff sack pillows. There are loads of varieties, but I honestly couldn't tell you the brand of this one. I do know it was from amazon. Thanks for stopping by. Take care.
Where's the bushcraft shop in Stockport mate ?
Hiya bud. It's more of a air soft paint ball shop that sells bushcraft gear too. It's on the main walkway under the bridge in the centre.
@@BushcraftWithSteOutdoors cheers mate I know where you mean. It's near the old bank I think, I'll definitely have a look in there. 👍🏻
@@peterdixon999 That's the one bud.
Where can I find this Rucksack?
You can find them overseas or eBay is your best bet. They are becoming a little thin on the ground now, so I would grab one while you can.
Hey Steve, what kind of axe is that?
Hey there. This the gransforbruks small forest axe. Hope this helps. Take it easy.
Um, what about food?
He scavenges
Hey there good question my good man. The pack is still extendable with all the gear I have here. I don't really use dry foods apart from noodles, so steaks meats veg will all fit nicely in the pack. The pack only weighs around 9kg as it currently stands so food shouldn't budge the weight up too much. Thanks for stopping by pal. Take care.
For steak at my local supermarket 😂
Swiss water bottles. Not Swedish.
Please excuse my ignorance I stand corrected.
