This was owned by one family since new, always been garaged, maintained and driven by two females only. Under the hood you find the fuel injected 2.8 liter straight 6 cylinder engine, producing 170hp connected to a 4 speed automatic transmission. This car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, air-conditioning with and upgraded Sanden compressor, a matching white hard top and much more. The upgraded European headlights give this car a very nice sleek look and much better lights for night time driving. The car has been completely serviced, all fluids and filters have been change, complete tune up and it is ready for the next collector. My grandfather bought three brand-new W113's in the '60s/'70s. The last was a '71 280SL and my brother & I sat in the back as you might imagine little kids doing whilst Peter Gregg showed my grandfather how to drift a W113 through a corner! Yes, the '60s & early '70s truly had little in common with today! In 1991 I bought a silver-blue 1970 280SL with just 7K miles from the original owner that my wife used as her daily-driver until we sold it in either '98 or '99. Both the purchase & the sale were conducted before W113 prices became insane.
