ROC is fake China, for PRC. ROC is neither china nor Taiwan. In a word china is a fake country but a prison of many countries. Taiwan just point it out. At least for Chthonic you should call them Taiwanese band. Cuz Taiwan is what they sing for, not China. Taiwan independence as theme is deep rooted in the lyric and music.

All the clip is about them. The first frase of the song is 'steel ocean winds' (refeering to the original meaning of the word that came after two typhoons back in the 13th century), the destroyed citties, the japanese officers in the middle, etc etc.
Is just amazing how this song/clip can make us sympatize to those fanatics.

Chthonic is great, but honestly....Broken Jade is not one of their best songs. I would suggest Defenders of Bu-tik Palace: czcams.com/video/a5z-AOdCAx8/video.html or Supreme Pain for the Tyrant: czcams.com/video/4jYsu5-TJQ8/video.html .
Also, I have been living in Beijing for 6 years and I have been to I don't how many Metal shows here Chinese and many well-known Metal bands from other countries. It is more of an underground type thing cause of the government, and any Metal band that performs here has to get their playlist approved by the government.
Anyway...I have seen some pretty kick ass Chinese bands. Everything from Metalcore to DeathMetal. One band that is my favorite is called Yaska. They are a Metalcore/Nu Metal band (I don't know what the fuck to call it) from Chengdu in Sichuan province and they moved to Beijing to pursue their musical career. Their best song is You Are Not the Loser: czcams.com/video/pv9acqrdRU8/video.html
