- The original track came from the remastered box set. Very cool for Metallica to release early writing demos for the classic songs. This one is pretty different to how it turned out on the album. The gift that keeps giving.

Anyone who can't see the video description I've added links to for all my presets for Reaxis, Amplitube 3&4 and amp settings for the Mesa Triaxis. I don't have tabs for this but I'm sure you'll work it out from Dyers' Eve and Harvester.

so, how I can use it for Reaxis? I just download, unzip, than use "load" option, on only one preset, but it loads a lot, and delete default presets...

Thank you mate, the solo on the original demo was terrible so I had to improvise something that sounded familiar with the studio release
Good idea to do this one! Very strange that main riff at 0:43 is played only once in actual song. And it sounds so good and special, I like to play it the most. And when played along other guitar that plays open power chords, amazing. There is some magic in these ajfa melodies and tone.

180-200bpm song, REALY fast solo with Wah with make its even harder, imagine play the bass with the fingers and the Drumming is insane too... What a hard song, my God...

He probably used BIAS FX 2 for the pc. But if you want to get the sound with a real amp, the boogie mark and rec series are good. If you're on the cheap, I'd get something like a Marshall dsl20hr. He made 2 videos on it... I bought it yesterday with a Harley Benton cab...
Alternatively, many other Marshall's and orange's will get the job done, I understand that not everyone can shell out 1k+ for used Mesa boogies or even 2.5k for new ones, me included lol
Edit: he used the mercurial reaxis amp sim, but bias FX is a similar and powerful plugin/software that will allow you even more things.

how many guitars are layered here? Im learning about equalization and mixing guitars. Very interested :)
Only the two here panned 85% each way. During the intro there were 4 guitars I think. 2 x rhythm tracks and 2 x melody/harmony tracks. I pan them so they don’t share the same stereo spectrum and phase each other out.

It’s all in the description but I used Mercuriall’s Reaxis software through a focusrite clarret 2pre interface into Logic In the Mac.
What model of Charvel is that, if I may ask?
Charvel So Cal, though it didn’t come with EMGs
