Everytime I watch this I just love the relaxed, matter-of-fact delivery and manner. It's just what it appears to be: a casual demonstration of something totally magical...without all the hype and self-manufactured excitement. LOVE it!
I think you have done a beautiful job of distilling this to its quintessence and making it really clean. I have always had a problem with Ramsay's original vanishes, which to my mind were over-fussy (probably to fool magicians). This routine is a real gem! Did Frank make the cylinder?
You may be right. I have not performed this routine table hopping, but mostly in formal shows. However, the informal, close-up situations have not been problematic. I think spectators will not be inclined to look down the cylinder if they are convinced it is just a tube. I know Justin Miller as well as John Carney perform C&C up close and table-hopping (Justin Miller, at least). Thank you for the input.
Great Routine! I particularly liked the last coin vanish - Very Visual Magic! Was the vanish similar to Vernon's wand spin vanish? Anyway, I acquired a 4 dollar coin cylinder, and making the coins vanish is my biggest challenge. You made it look easy.
This is just my handling of the effect. It is not meant to be an advertisement or teaser, just entertaining. There are many published versions, written and on video, by those mentioned in my description.
What do you mean? This video has been here for 9 years and it is VERY different from Mead's demonstration of Conover's routine. I think Mead's performance of that routine of P and T was fantastic.
i feel the exact opposite, the 4 coin version imo is belaboring and super difficult with dollar size coins. this 3 coin version prompted me to invest in the proper props to perform this. people have short attention spans, 15 phase routines are most of the time 80 percent patter and theatrics and 20 percent effect. this goes over well with people i have shown, it literally creates gasps from laymen, they cant believe what they are seeing. only a jaded magi would say it feels incomplete. the guys that actually work, streamline effects and get rid of inefficiency or repetitiveness. most people think working is showing the wife your half baked version of some trick you practiced for 3 days.
+John Dahlinger no your right I'm making it more confusing trying to conceal the secret. you gave me all the info I needed thank you haha. Todd has one part and ambitious card has the other. thank you.
I like the vanish of the last one. Also the practical way with 3 coins indeed of 4 in Ramses original. Well Donezk.

Casually and naturally presented. Excellent version of Ramsay's classic. Well done!
Very smoothly act Good~!
I REALLY dig your version. No false movements. Perfect Economy of Motion. Natural handling. Almost instant re-set. TERRIFIC!!!!
I'm glad someone has taken the original effect but left the original vanishes in the past. Your vanishes are economical and current. Congratulations!
Thanks for the kind comments.
Nice routine. Good use of variety in vanishes. Fresh interpretation of the Pop vanish.
great soooo many handlings have come out recently
I see you holding the coins halfway through, but for the life of me, I still don’t get how the coins in the cylinder vanishes.
Mr. Bread I have to say I think that is the easiest move..of course once you know what it is.
I love the last vanish. It's sort of like the French Pop, but the wand really adds something. Beautiful work.
今からこのコインマジックを勉強しようと思っているものです。
シンプルで理解しやすいもの、余計な動きのないものを探していました。
とても参考になりました。有難うございます❣(^^♪
Nicely done.
The cylinder you use reminds me of the tube used for "Fast Fret" guitar string cleaner. But they don't use plastic anymore.
Well done. I think Ramsay would be proud.
Excellent.
Thanks for watching!
Solid. Man, mine needs sooo much work!!!

I had the idea to wrap a pochette over the top of the cylinder and fix it with a rubber band. Then I can load the cork like in cups & balls.
Amazing stuff! My compliments!
well done. thanks for sharing your work.
so stick the spongeball in the top of the cylinder at the start of the trick so you don't spoil the surprise.
I wonder if you are still alive, 🤔 If you are then cheers😊
I agree. Great version. Yep, the cylinder is a "Frank". You win the prize Eric!!
Well done. Thanks for sharing. (without exposing) :)
Thanks.

Nice
Very nice.
Good routine!
great job! best regards
good job.
I still can't find a tutorial on this routine...

@@johndahlinger2978 Thank you for your response. I just want to learn the trick so that I can do it for my family lol
So, Eric Mead?

John Dahlinger Just wanted your take on it. I know yours was from a time before. Great routine!
Thanks! For sure....Mead is fantastic!
I need explanation
Do you have an online Store to buy your DVD?
No. But I am glad you like it.
I think the routine needs a third phase, though - seems incomplete to me. The ending feels a tad abrupt.

Can you send me its tutorial in a DVD? I will pay you well for that.
Maybe. If you are not joking respond here or message me privately; I can't figure out how to do that.
John Dahlinger how is done all i can see is his hand always keeping the coin
Where did you get a cylinder like that plus the other items *wink
the ambitious card and todd lassen
+John Dahlinger Thank you 😃 and I know in John Carney's version he uses a gimick that I can't find. would that be at the same site?
Hmmm..I did not remember he used anything more than what i used. I will have to look at his version again.
