When an unstoppable yes-and meets an immovable no-but
☝️ this comment deserves more likes
@@thyhandrevolve The algorithm obliged. He has now overtaken me, ya bastard! But this comment is worthy of being top overall. Mine are just fairly banal recaps. Just, the Richard Dreyfus mention to open the show had me dead. Take care. You fished your wish. Great comment by the OP and yourself.
Anyway
@@uncletom356deep breaths
@uncletom356 Verily! 👹 My work here is done!
(maniacal laughter grows louder, only to crescendo into the slow, damp, familiar seepage of air noise(s), which emit from a single 'whoopee cushion' brand; whoopee cushion, via an buttocks-to-cushion-maneuver...)
For this... This too... is also, Sparta.
"I'm like Richard Dreyfus on Club Random." "I'm cosplaying being interviewed by David Letterman." "They got me on Baby Reindeer; I thought it was a prequel to Rudolph."☠🤣
All within a couple mins of being introduced. This ought to be great. Tim and David are absolute legends.
Tim definitely is
David definitely is
I like to have fun
I like to laugh
I like to meet people who can make me laugh
I like having fun and meeting people who laugh
I like laughing and having a good time
"It's embarrassing to talk" ya that one hit
One awesome hour of comedy. Two of my all time favorite comics!
that '"I think they're important'" line about tiktoks got me giggling 😂😂
Tim is a great guest. He can riff with the best of 'em. He's got David's schtick down pat.
Also, love David's question at the end concerning what's happening in Gaza and big respect for Tim to not be afraid to call a spade a spade, when the common way for society to deal with that is to call him an anti-semite. Big respect.
Came looking for these comments hell yeah Tim’s one of the best
Now I absolutely love the man. God bless him in triplicate.
What an episode. Tim's Lenglish accent at 48:55 is a joy.
There's my Chippy.
Here Chip Chip.
My new Pep-Pep!

OH
I love Tim ripping Maher in his Club Random parody. It's so perfect, and you know it really makes Bill's asshole twitch in rage.
BIll Maher has no idea who Tim Heidecker is and he most likely has no clue Tim even did that parody. With how vocal he is, he would have said something. Maher also is very busy writing and hosting his show, doing his podcast, traveling and doing his weekly stand up gigs.
@@cactaceous Ok there Bill
@@cactaceousdon’t be weird
@@cactaceous Oh he knows, the Club Random producer was extremely pissed off about it.
@@cactaceous Bill Maher is actually a frequent guest on Office Hours
Oh hey, it's that guy from the 'Pizza Boy' DVD my wife got in the mail.
I ain’t no ho ho!
Tim's my favorite human
You clearly don't know about David Blaine.
Cross, Heidecker and Odenkirk are my favorite humans so this is almost perfect
I have BPD too my heart goes out to you to the extent that's possible for someone like me
Tim who?
I've never seen David Cross laugh this much or this hard lmao Tim's a legend
@@buhlake3391 Tim has a ton of similarities as Bob, so that likely played a role. I mean, David even called Tim a genius at the beginning of the pod. Obviously, he did it in a joking/sarcastic manner. Because that’s David Cross. But very few, if any, even get that “faux recognition” by David.
@@uncletom356that's cool
@@tallmansmallman3214 👍
@@uncletom356 jk, its not cool
One of my favorite podcast episodes of ANY podcast thus far. Just hilarious, these two
I give this episode 5 bags of popcorn even though I didn’t actually watch it.
oh god it's soooooo good to see Tim the interviewee back in action
What a class act. Finishes his appearance by plugging another comics special.
Tim never misses. 5 bagger for sure
🥤 🥤
and 2 sodas
and a little toy microphone so you can make your own interview
I love uncomfortable conversations like this. Tim is great at spreading his genuine uncomfortableness, and it puts his counters on the same footing. His social anxiety and awkwardness takes center stage unintentionally and he holds that space really well. I don't know how he stays uncomfortable so well and still functions. It's like he creates that element to bring others into his space and uses it as a sword amd shield. David seems to do the same thing using the cultural information he has about the world to appear an intellectual (the hipster defense). Both of these men are great at exploiting their personal deficiencies while pointing them out, making fun of themselves and creating a vacuum where they hold power.
I had a majority of my mid to late teen years growing up to Tim and Eric had their webpage videos like Humpers and at the time Tom Goes to the Mayor had just started. Also Adult swim had chat boards you could post in and interact with literally anyone. What a time to be alive. Tim and Eric brought out a depth in Comedy that was just right, and I still feel Tim is underrated in everything he does. Thank god for Office Hours!
Most entertaining stroke I've ever sat and watched.
Tim's Rock and Roll Gary is one of my favorite things in the world
Yes. For those not in the know its on Doug's Poundcast
Mostly on office hours a few years ago but most notably at the end of Tim’s CZcams special
Best episode so far
Tim’s Frosted troll is getting hilarious! When is Vic gonna realize he’s being trolled? It’s so adorable!
God I could listen to 3 hours of this
I could listen to hundreds of hours of these two. Wish they would team up
Oh, just turn down the playback speed
magical madness! Thank thee all! Glorious !
Mr. Show and Tim and Eric great job! Wow love these two together!
Tim is the coolest guy I know.
🎶i like David Cross / i like Timmy H 🎶
I like to have fun
He's not wrong. On Cinema is genius level.
Thats fax dog, fax
This is going to sound either hell of pretentious or like I'm taking the piss, but sincerely: Tim Heidecker's comedic genius is verging on profundity often.
Never seen anyone say “hell of” instead of hella.
@@Youdiments Danny Sher? Wow. Hello from a fellow odd-meter 'head and drummer. Small world, I guess.
Thank you Tim
This is the best episode ever!
Tim Heidecker is my favorite human man
Then you should look into how he goes after peoples careers to the point they lose medical benefits, and then paint himself as an average human being after doing so
@@PuertoRicanRattlesnake I'm ok with that. Tim can do no wrong as far as im concerned. Who cares how he treats people...I'm a dick too
@@PuertoRicanRattlesnakeno idea what you’re talking about

ABOUT FREAKIN TIME
Albuquerque needs to get on this ad campaign yesterday.
I've been a Dave fan since 2003, and a Tim fan since 2008. This makes me pretty happy
Great episode, some engagement for my Heidy and Cross! Edit: sweet Rock n Roll Gary appearance!!
AS PER MY LAST COMMENT
PLEASE HAVE GREGG ON
Turkington? the lying snake ? the pseudo cinefile? the back stabber? yeah ok
Rip Tom cruise jr.
An hour of popcorn movie classics
What do you mean “have him on”?
He’s the co-host
Can we PLEASE get back to the MOVIES?!
the abundance of beverages
How this channel is not with 1M subs is insane
The meeting of two titans, hell yeah. Very happy Arneett cancelled to get Heidecker. Two of the very best comedians/comedic minds on planet earth in that danky club. Love it.
Not the first time Tim Heidecker benefited off the canceling of somebody else
@PuertoRicanRattlesnake he can't keep getting away with it
@@PuertoRicanRattlesnakecry
You think that really happened lmao
Well technically it was Tig Notaro. Patton Oswalt subbed in for Will Arnett last week.
Omg I have been waiting and hoping for this!
I’ve just been rewatching Tom goes to the Mayor. It’s so funny, so many great bits and shirts. Rats of to ya
I love my big cups.
I was thinking about the one where Tom's dad visits.
I got a "Rats Off to Ya" for my birthday almost 20 years ago and losing that shirt is one of my biggest regrets in life
Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead is one of my absolute favorite books
😂 Us is awesome! It was a surprise to see Tim, for me 😆
Literally both these dudes should be starring in giant comedy movies every year. Im not trying to be a teachers pet or anything I mean the film industry is truly awful I swear.
That sounded way too sincere wtf
Im with vic , thank you tim
We are in for a real treat
I'm actually downloading this episode.
damn this is gold
Tim could probably use a few more beverages.
Thank ya Tim!
If I were your 6th grade teacher, I would give you both the highest score for your group project
Mr Show, Great Job!
So refreshing to hear a comedian sincerely answer the Israel v Palestine gag.
And the fact it was from the sultan of insincerity made it that much funnier.
Fuckyeah! two of my favorites!!!
this back and forth is giving me whiplash
17:15 "its embarrassing to talk" love this line
Insane that Tim was a fill-in. Gotta be a top tier guest on any program
It was all a joke
@@aoxomoxoanthem nope, it is true that Tig Notaro cancelled last minute. also, the grateful dead suck
@@annabrewer8054 great ! You have an opinion, good for you
Been waiting for this one! It delivered! Home run!
Laughing all the way through. It's been revealing for me listening to David's podcast. He's really been instrumental for a lot of comedians! ❤
This one was really good
Fantastic love the occasional drunk Tim

Rock and roll Gary is my favorite. Reminds me of the guy in Wayne's world 2.
Tim was so good in this. Unexpectedly I might add.
Unexpectedly??
@@davidgrapeTHANKS they might have added that...

Yes! Neal’s special is great 😂❤
It's like the "Hi Hitler" bit, the dude thought it was Soup Nutsy.
Great ep
❤Tim & Eric ❤
'can you still drive/if you can drive one more mile' would literally make an amazing country music lyric
wtf is this audience? you could easily get an audience that would love to see david cross and tim heidecker.
I don’t think a lot of them get the bit
Shockingly bad audience, actually impressed they filled the room with such a unfunny crowd.
I love Tim!
I think they made this work pretty well, there are some solid laughs in here. I feel for David that Will Arnett cancelled though. I would love to see him on the podcast.
tims absolutely B L A S T E D HAHAH
No he isn’t
@@Symphunize he's my cousin
thank you tim
Cross isn’t used to being out sarcasted..
And his schtick is getting tired.
David is...toasted
Nah it was prop beer
Classic Will Arnett.
Can't blame him for dodging this disaster.
Cannot believe you would have Tim Heidecker on before Sam Seder
Sam Seder, what a nightmare!!
Who is that? Some type of ornamental tree?
Furst Bateman and now Tim. Sam's gonna be so pissy when he finally is invited on.
Sam Hyde.
LEFT IS BEST.
Damn, was hoping they would have talked about their work and collaborations more, but still a fun conversation.
Remember when Heidecker and Brett Gelman _collaborated_ to cancel World Peace just because it was easier to claim that there was an internal issue at Adult Swim, then it was to acknowledge that Gilman isn’t funny and shouldn’t be working in media
Why relive the past again
Just saying it would have been cool, as a fan, to hear some BTS stories about their specific collaborations with each other, as they did some great things together. And considering everything *else* they discussed was about things that have happened "in the past", that's obviously not an issue for them, so - why would it be for you? It was a great conversation, just saying I would have loved to have heard about the stuff they did together, like the Bob & David sequences in Tim & Eric, etc., as I've never seen the two of them in this format before, that's all.
Pussssssydoodles
Watched “Cable Guy” last night. Bob & Dave are in the damn movie!
"Which is where I go to watch all my shows." Fuck I love that line
These two boiled hot dog boys are killing it!
Damn, there he goes. The smoothest spokes-candy, the caramel M&M himself
If you look closely, the wider shots reveal that everyone in the audience is balding.
Just wonderful.🎉
49:05 this whole bit XD
So good .
Saw the title and crapped my pants.. Im sorry to my wife for the laundry tomorrow i love you. 😮
whats his name
can we talk about on cinema and DKR
Maria Bamford is the best current comic.
For anyone who doesn't understand Tim Heidecker:
David: "Knock knock"
Tim: "Who's there?"
D: "Mipe"
T: "Mipe?"
D: "Mipe"
T: "....Mipe?"
Hope that clears things up.
Albuquerque is both north of and higher elevation to LA.. You guys must be talking about some other metric like property value, down there in Albuquerque. I live in Rio Rancho NM, which is both north of and higher elevation relative to Albuquerque, and that's what we also mean when we say "down in Albuquerque"
Weirdly snobbish
david could riff his way into becoming president purely via a series of "yes and"s. he feigns sincerity better than anyone else while improvising
That feeling when you're stoked to watch a pod and then realize it's a live show 😔
Live pods are never as good 😔
Life is so hard
No one from Los Angeles (305 feet above sea level, at 34.07 degrees north latitude) can say that Albuquerque (5,312 feet above sea level, at 35.10 degrees north latitude) is "down there."
