Wow. NTA. OP simply spoke the truth. He's letting his family sh*t talk her and he's doing nothing. Worse, he's joining in! Meanwhile, she's right: They can't live on his salary alone. Most families need 2 incomes these days. I'm sorry he felt hurt, but he needs to grow up and grow a spine, or else he's going to lose everything.
