Ran into this issue last night on a HP Envy 360x 8 year old laptop. It was plugged in holding charge just not increasing (light blinking issue). Other videos had some similar steps nothing helped. Not even a factory reset with keeping files worked. I can’t believe step 8 on this video was the Hail Mary that finally worked…big thanks!!!! It took me 4 hours of looking through other videos.

@@bwcarculture4160 a factory reset is always a good idea as long as you can back up your files. It didn’t do anything for me though. The holding the power button is what helped take away the blinking. But my computer might need a battery or charger because the charging on it doesn’t seem right to this day but the blinking went away.

Had same problem 9% and no more charge. To fix it just did uninstall Dell Power Management. Actually I uninstalled all software which names begin from word Dell. Now my Dell G3 3779 works faster. No more 100% disk usage problem.
after take off the battery, is it I must put the battery back then press power button 15 to 30 sec or just press the start button after take the battery out?

Anyone who has not has had success with the methods shown in this video, like me, just run the laptop without charging until it really runs out of battery and then charge it without switching it on and it'll work.

I tried many things, but it did not work for me, like updating bios also. and tried many other solution from internet. Do you have any idea if it will work, if I upgrade windows to 10, I am on windows 7 currently.

@@nylioriendo8685 i went to a technician and figured out why. My battery needs to be changed. It's basically dead forever. Apparently laptops can work without batteries! I literally can take it out and as long as my laptop is plugged in, i can still use it. It won't charge since there's no battery to charge, but if it's plugged in it'll work. I prefer keeping my battery in, but it'll still work without it. So until I can afford a new battery, my laptop will only work with the charger. Kinda sucks cause i can't use it anywhere without a plug and if my charger stops working, I can't use the laptop. If i want to move somewhere else while on it, I need to shut it down then start it back up after i move. Ugh
why did it give me 103% my full charge capacity is higher than my design capacity for some reason

Bro ive been trying to solve this prob for weeks and it still deosnt work. Most of the vids have similar steps in different ways but even this deosnt. Its either its not the correct way or the battery needs to be replaced. This happened a year after replacing the battery. Is 1 year usually the lifespam of a laptop battery or is this one broken?
Same here, I found somewhere that, battery must use original from Dell, 3rd party’s battery has this issue.

My battery health is 75% now but it’s charging. But if I don’t use my laptop for some days ,it gets back to 0% again
mine too, health was 67% and the battery lasts for couple minutes, after check the real capacity was 3% , it's dead and need to be replaced

I went for repair dell charger, he changed dc cable but issue not resolved, after he changed transistor still issue not resolved,he said its adaptor problem,take new charger
