Nothing worked, then I saw this video and voila! The BIOS method worked. Why is that BTW? Did HP give me a bad update?

@@Fyusion7 No it didn't work out, but fortunately the laptop still under warranty so i ended up taking it to the support service and after a weak they told me that the battery is damaged and you have to replace the battery but unfortunately they don't have a battery for this model so i ended up returning the laptop to the store and taking my money back, THEN i bought a new one and i made a video about it in my channel 🌚
It didn't work for me (HP Pavilion dv5). After BIOS upgrade stays at 0% charging forever (battery really at 0, the applied voltage remains 11.2V, i.e. 3.7V/cell). Not discharging, not charging, just flat at the minimum of a LiPo.

If it is software problem even a new battery will not charge so checked with another battery working perfectly,so whatever u were showing it will not work.

This actually works, before updating bios its plugged and charging and after bios update it is 1hr 1 min or whatever to fully charge. Thank you sir
