    Panerai at least now are sticking to their heritage while being open to other sizes for those that prefer smaller. I bought a 45mm Radiomir this year and couldn’t be happier. Good looking, legible, fun, and I feel I’m a part of history.

    I am taken with their watches - but the experience concept is just fantastic. Will keep it in mind. Lovely interview.

    Wei Koh in a Hawaiian shirt was on my W&W 2024 Bingo card. And he shows up in a black polo instead.

    Nice and I agree the perfect size for Panerai is 44 mm or alternatively 47 mm in an ultra light material like ceramic, titanium or Carbotech . I own a 44 mm Panerai the PAM Submersible in titanium and love it , although the OEM clasps and buckles ( steel butterfly clasp and titanium pin buckle ) are both terrible with sharp edges that cut into the wrist .The rubber strap quality is OK . Had to buy a strap from Rubber B with a steel clasp of their own which is much better . That’s a bit embarrassing I must say for a big name like Panerai , not to be be able to produce comfortable straps / clasps/ buckles . Don’t they test them before releasing them to the market ? I also don’t like white dial Panerai . The other models look nice, but are probably overpriced as usual …..

    “What’s the right size for Panerai “ . Tbh it’s a dumbest question I heard . There is no right size . It depends on lots of factors. Like wrist size etc. and it depends on someone’s personal taste. Someone like big watches even they’ve small wrist and vice versa. Everyone have different taste.
    Dumb question

    A 38mm "mens" watch is old fashioned.
    It's 2023. Get with the times dude.

      nah you are wrong, its entirely up to the individual. Im a 185lbs and where a 36mm breitling daily. Looks wonderful, if not to you, to me.

      @scottbott8525 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @patrickelrafih I totally agree with you. I'm 6'3 and 275 lbs. A 47mm Panerai fits me perfectly. I don't have any watches under 42mm.
      I'm referring more to the idea that watches SHOULD be smaller, as a general idea. That's an old-fashioned idea that this guy can't get past.
