Reversal of Fortune brought me to this video. Great movie. Great performance by Irons.
Both Siskel and Ebert put Reversal of Fortune on their top 10 list that year. I agree with them, especially for Jeremy Irons's performance.
White Palace was a good movie.
Reversal of fortune was such a good movie & Jeremy irons deserved his oscar no doubt about it. He also has the coolest voice. Obviously I'm not the only one as he was tapped to voice scar in the lion king. His voice is so good he holds his own against perhaps the greatest voice actor ( and very good actor in his own right) james earl jones as mufasa & of course did the voice of Darth vader which of course was iconic.

Reversal of fortune, lol how could you even remember a movie with that idiot title, it didn´t help that the movie was mediocre. Night of the living dead(remake) and Quigley down under are two movies that i know people still watch in 2020.
Maybe you are the idiot. I can always remember that title and Jeffrey Irons' phenomenal performance.
One of the 20 best movies of the 1990s. It was riveting and suspenseful and did not stop until the end Jeremy Irons won the Oscar for his performance and that's not mediocre
I think reversal of fortune is a fantastic title & is used in legal terms I've seen by lawyers on talk shows to this day about successful appeals. Jeremy irons was brilliant ^ deserved his oscar hands down. I also love his voice. Obviously I'm not alone as he voices scar from the lion king. His voice work holds its own against probably the most famous great voice actor ( and actor ) in james earl jones who of course voiced mufasa & darth vader.
