Matt: Can we wide body it?
Brandon: No, we're not gonna do that, but the engine sounds great.
🤣😂🤣😂
I think it’d look sick wide bodied 🤷🏻
@@bradleyborrowman2115it would look sick but the idea was for this to be a restomod style build so it has more power and there are minor changes from stock but still looks like a stock car
Years ago in hot rod a man named Lucas Tanner built a real wide body Camaro and it was sweet.
had me rolling xD
Brandon at Muscle Rod is like Matt’s big brother trying to talk Matt out off poor financial decisions lol
While benefiting from his poor financial decisions
Or at the same time not wanting another crazy project to deal with
@jeffh4505 if anyone deserves that benefit it's definitely the person trying to talk him out of it.
@@schneekitsune1475 that's the "I don't want this job" quote
A 25k project can easily turn into 75k in a couple decisions it's wild
I can’t wait to see his dads reaction. Give us part 5 right now, Matt!
Can we get Brandon in more videos??? The friendship chemistry and banter is awesome!!!!
I agree, perhaps more car projects. Maybe some specialty vehicles for service at the resort, people and equipment carriers in the muscle car or ranch stang style.
The original broken part hanging from the rear view mirror is classic!
Till it swings and cracks the front windshield
Brandon is the freaking man! His work is beautiful and the people he employees are obviously top tier artists. I can only imagine what it costs to have a car rebuilt in such a short time. I love the look of this car.
4.3 million viewers and free advertising is worth every cent.
Ps what can they do with a Mitsi L300 van? Lol
Pretty fast when the long tedious work is body and paint, which they didn't have to do
“Can we widebody it”
“Yeah no we’re not gonna do that THE motor sounds good tho”!😂😂 love this channel
I enjoy the brother dynamic between Matt and Brandon. Very genuine and so much fun to watch, hope Brandon starts posting vids again soon!
Has Mr. Brandon been in a Demolition Ranch video at the range?
He is hilarious!
Needs to bring an engine block and throw a few .50 cals at it
I agree, he's obviously good at what he does, and he's good at thinking on his feet.
Absolutely love this car. I think this has been my fav car you’ve done. The sentimental value makes it so much better.
My all time dream car. Growing up my dad told me stories of driving and racing early Camaros and I’ve always wanted one since. Thanks for making us part of this project!
In the early 70's, a friend of mine put his 68 Camaro up for sale. It was green with a Hurst shifter. I wanted that car so badly. He brought it to my parents house and I tried to talk my parents into it, to no avail. That car was badass and I've always wanted one. So, I'm loving this series.
It's good to see somebody so young that knows how to tune a carb!
Wow, Brandon and muscle rods work ethic is incredible. They rebuilt this car in less than a week
Have you not been paying attention. It took a month. Which is still amazing, but it's not a week
@@bigdaveowens76 I know, that’s the joke
Remember the show Chip Foose they full restoration from a rusty hunk a junk to a dream machine in just a week
@@hemidart7 no theu didn't. They just filmed it that way.
a week of youtube time lol
I am soooo looking forward to seeing Dr. Lee's reaction when he first sees it!
Wouldn't it be something if on the way home, Matt is stopped at a red light & his dad pulls up in the next lane? 😂😂😂
Wana Race old man?!!
I got a huge smile on my face from that deep, angry growl when the pedal hit the metal!
But it will be so cool when every vehicle is electric……not.
Looking forward to seeing your Dads excitement! Take care of yourself down there, Matt. I hear things are getting pretty wild..
Looking at that car makes my heart feel so good. I'm proud of you for keeping it (mostly) stock from the factory. I was always a Mustang fan but this car came in a close second to it.
Daily videos on a project like this is great. Keep it up, can’t wait to see your dads reaction!
This series of videos are awesome !!! I like the way we don't have to wait for the hole month to see them very cool idea.
Hi Matt, my husband was a master mechanic and served in the Army Corps of Engineers. Whenever I said “motor or engine” incorrectly I heard about it. Engine is used to refer to an internal power source ie: gas or diesel. Motor is used to refer to an external power source ie: electricity. I think this is a “kick the dog” response (on my part) to your referencing motor and engine the way I used to. I was chastised unmercifully for awhile. (Slow learner😅). Hugs from sunny Arizona 💖😎💖😅
man i cant wait to see matts dads reaction this was a cool journey
Love chevy Camaros. Build is definitely coming along. Love the content and who ever edits these videos is a beast. Can't wait to see the completion and pops reaction.
Dropping a monster engine in it and keeping the drum brakes. I like it.
Fast cars are about going, not stopping. The drums are fine, I'm sure, probably.
Seeing David pound Brandon's fist feel so great 3:27 Brandon seems to be a wonderful person and friend, a man whom you get along with from the first meet ☺️
That big block sounds sick , that’s my dream car , your dad is going to love it , thanks Matt for sharing it with us , Paul did a great job 👍
Just in case your dad doesn't want it, I'm here for you Matt.
I'd be happy to keep it safe for you. 😊😅
68 Camaro is my favorite muscle car. I had two of them at one time, I didn't have the knowledge and tools to finish them so I sold them. Some day I'll have another one!
Brandon is like Matt's really cool cousin 😁
I can't wait to see Dr. Lee's reaction! Well done guys!
Can't wait to see you're dad's surprise when he sees the car.
Damn, i love that sound. Always wanted a Camaro with a 427 in it. This one is even nicer.
That's sick! My dad had a camero like that! He passed away when I was young ! Someday, I want one like that! Great job!
Editor of these videos - keep it up. Doing great job. Content helps as well.
This is so awesome Matt...I love 68 Camaros...there was an older kid at my school that had a matte black 68 Camaro that he painted the Bat Signal on back in the 80's and I've been in love with those cars ever since
That's one of the coolest Camaros I've ever seen, love how you kept it lookin old school.
Be super funny if Matt and his dad crossed paths on the way home. 😂
Sounds incredible! Big shoutout to Muscle Rod Customs. No easy task in any way putting together a car that fast!
Truly an awesome car 😍 also the fact that you restore it "practicly" stock is amazing
Beautiful car. I really love to see the old Hot Rods modernized. I'm fairly certain Brandon's shop has a motto of "If the customer is paying, We'll do it!"
This makes me miss my 68 RS Camaro so much. Those are sweet cars.
“A lot more responsive when you WHACK IT!” lol couldn’t have said it better myself!
Matt it’s perfect as-is. Maybe some center caps but the wheels look good even as they are.
I’m glad Brandon’s crew got it done in time and didn’t lose the shop.
Close to my dream car. 1969 Z28 but definitely wouldn't say no to this beauty!!! Nice job Boyz!!!
Beautiful and great job. You are a great son. Love your connection with your dad and your family. I am sure he will love it. Be safe in that heat
This could have been a very interesting series and you absolutely killed it. Definitely better than watching you mow the lawn for ten minutes!
I had a 69 Camaro that I got when I was 17. It had a 3 speed manual transmission, a double pump Holley carb and an Edelbrock high rise manifold, headers with header mufflers, Cooper Cobra tires and was painted a 1970’s Ford Blue, which was a dark midnight blue color. The 60’s Camaros were my dream car since I was 6 years old. 67 is my favorite because it has the wing windows. I wish I had just parked my 69 at my mom’s house back in the day versus selling it. I was just a young unstable buck when I had gotten rid of it.
Those stock wheels give it a COPO feel without being a poser! Love it!!
I agree! I couldn't put my finger on the look, but that's it. COPOs were all business back in the day.
Hey Matt, give yourself (if there's a camera person then them) and your editor a raise, looking freaking amazing!
Yay it's done! Props to all of their hardwork! Cannot wait to see his father Reaction! ❤❤❤
Brandon knows way better to even consider doing the wide body after Matt asks because he'll just be on him the whole way through 😂😂
Dude, this quick series is awesome. The car is also beautiful.
Good on you Matt. Congratulations on everything.
Matt and 20 years have to mean something now.
Wow, what a beauty!, Love it! I had a 68 SS Camaro. Was one of my favorite cars. So disappointed though your tires don’t have chrome on them. Every 68 vehicle had chrome. I always think tires like these on a vintage vehicle, look like they’re missing hubcaps. Just my old 70’s gal viewpoint! ❤
Matt that thing looks and sounds righteous I love the way that car shakes when it idles man that is so cool
Awesome display of power!! Big block !!! have to have center caps beauty rings and all the chrome trim
Absolutely gorgeous! She sounds awesome, seems to go great and looks fantastic! I'm a little surprised I really like the look with the black steel wheels and just the white writing on the tyres for a bit of contrast. If your dad doesn't want to take it off you, he aint human!
I am so excited to see Dr. Lee's face when he sees it. ❤
Matt I love your channel I have watched EVERY VIDEO ON THIS CHAN AND Demoranch. We need more everyday vlog.
thats the way a car should sound, its a thing of beauty, definitely what you should have done with the barracuda. Such a wonderful piece of automative art
Been waiting for this since I first saw the car and heard the story on dr.lee channel. Muscle rod guys are amazing.
That would be such a cool feeling! Congratulations Matt!
That is one badass Camaro, can’t wait to see Lees reaction when he sees it!!!!
Looks awesome ! They did a great job!
I freaking love Brandon😂
My dream car!!! Of all the cars you have done this is the nicest coolest car you have done!! Your dad was over the moon about it im sure
I love the sound of that big block 💪🏻💪🏻
Looks great Matt. Beautiful Classic look.
Wow, huge progress in short time! Our friend had 2 Red Camaros and Terry would also say job well done! Looking forward to seeing your Father's expression as well. :)
A awesome Build , Shake down runs can go any way from good to bad and quick it's just part of the operation
That is one of my dream cars! So glad you got it up and running for your dad.
I know you already ordered different wheels. But those stealies are so freaking Hot rod. I love them so much. Stealies with white letter tires are probably my favorite hot rod look.
Matt and Brandon are the best!
Oh I can't wait till I see you surprise your dad... I wonder if he will hand over the title to you, if not like you said, you'll end up getting it sometime!
It came out beautiful ur dad's gonna love it!!
LOL matt has mastered the body shop trash talking so common in auto body and auto shops in general haha
Those guys killed it on this build. Wow. Can’t wait for the reveal!!
Oh c'mon..I want to see Dr Lee's reaction!!! And thank you Matt for leaving this gorgeous, classic Camaro body as is!! You broke my heart when you Frankensteined that Cuda. 💔
Muscle Rod rocks, their work always looks awesome.
Muscle Rod shop is the Bomb looks really really Good Matt
Love what you are doing for the memories
Sweet looking ride. Smiled wide seeing the mirror ornament!
Nice compliant Brandon!! Perfect!!
I LOVE the way it looks on those steelies!
Damn. Love this camaro ❤ your dad is going to be ecstatic
Man those wheels and paint job is so clean , makes me wana get one I love how those wheels look
Love Dr. Lee, love his channel and can’t wait for him to see this bad boy brought back to life!! Note to self: start project car with my ten year old so he can give it to me one day totally done
Matt, DON’T tear this one up like your know to do!!!
That sounds SO GOOD! They really did a sweet job putting her back together. Like the rearview mirror attachment :) Hope you dad knows what it is when he sees it. Matt can you tell Brandon to get back into making vid of the shop LOL
I cried watching this.. my step dad had one also green back in 1973. I wanted that car when I got older and was told it would be mine. My uncle who did not like my step dad threw a couple of flares in it and burnt it, along with the dream of it becoming mine.
Center caps and some beauty rings shes poppin!
Hell yeah Matt, you are the man 💪
My dream car! I am so glad you chose to keep it "stock."
Brandon's little "Big Block Dance" was on point.
Love the car can’t wait to see you give it to your dad. I hope you get it so you can make more Content over it
I'm so excited to see Papa Demo's reaction!
Need the chrome trim ring and centercaps on those rallye wheels! I still wish you had found a 396, but the car looks and sounds sharp!
I think this is your best car build yet. While the 5 ton was awesome, and the C4 ZR1 came out great, the Camaro is going to be #1 when it's complete.
