1. Compare prices
2. Look for shops doing discounts such as tiles from west Africa decor
3. If you are building in a developing community, mostly materials from neighboring properties can be reused. Such as boards. Left over sand and stones
4. Negotiate well with laborers cos most of the cost is from labor.
5. Do you really need this right now?
6. Buy in bulk and save on transportation cost
7. Ask for installment packages and invest the rest of the money especially when it comes to labor
8. The best time to start building was yesterday. The next best time is now. Considering the inflation cost
9. Supervise to avoid rework. Or get someone you trust who can supervise
10. Don’t take the easy route.

Hi

Never ever borrow money from the bank to build a house 🏠,
I kind of agree. Thanks for the tips

I appreciate your wisdom o the matter of construction. Im looking for land to start building in july. I live in Sogakope.
Our latest video on the channel
For me the major cost, like 70%, comes from materials and transport, etc. Labour is high but not the majority of cost especially when you don't get free materials from neighbors and stuff
Makes sense.
You don't know what your video is doing for me
Thank you so much
I’m glad to hear that.

@@AfricaBuildingHub hi
If you are doing a story building you must put the roof on that is a MUST then you can work on anything else with the building but if you don't have any skills and you just have the money then you are going to be a cash cow
Hehehe. Interesting point.
Being at the number I am I am going to see what I can manage when it comes to the labour cost but I know that when it comes to mixing up mortar it is better to use a concrete mixer which is much faster than by hand also feeding the mason is much better when I come to any channel regrading construction I know what I am talking about I don't just come here and talk like I am a bag of wind because I have done it I have seen how the masons work I have seen how the plasterer work/ rendering Europe so when people see me come and make a comment I am speaking from experience have a look at block profile / brick profile when it comes to mason/ brickey
Thanks for your feedback, Kojo.
i made it
Thanks for watching till the end.
So how you are going to make sure that he is laying 200 blocks for the day
Update:
As of 14 Oct, 2022
$1 = 11 cedis
😢😭😢😭😢
I made it
Thank you for watching the video to the end. You are amazing 🤩
Hi.. Have started building thanks to u and ur channel. I have a question cos I have doubts. Am building G+3 floors and my Mason used 6 iron rod of 16mm for the pillars. Please is this OK? Thank u
6 is ok but 8 could have been better
16mm 8 rods 20mm 6 rods. For G+3 better of getting Structural Engineer. Save yourself headache. It is cheaper
Well done Bro. Great videos.
Thank u so much for your information about the cost of materials. Pls can u recommend any good architect for me. I will be very grateful.
Thank you.
Felicia.

Many disaporans build sheds to protect their borehole and to store materials. Do you think this is a good idea.
It makes sense to me. I don’t see anything wrong with it at all.
