Quick tutorial on how to remove and install a late model Volkswagen grill emblem. This particular grill and badge are from a MK5 Jetta but the same style attachment is used on many other VWs
I’m struggling to open my 2001 5.5 (?) Passat hood. (I believe the battery is dead, as nether key fob signal, nor the key will open doors or trunk.) I think my Passat’s front hood VW Emblem is released as you describe in your excellent video. Is there a simple way to remove only the grille portion of the from fender assembly? Thanks. So I got all the parts for the mk5 Jetta from one of ur previous videos. You had the gli grille and the emblem on the oem/ one in this vid does fit the gli center grille. Which one did you use?
Hey , liighten up , German engineering has ways of making the simplest gizmos into complex devices . Looking at the front of the badge none of this mounting method is evident . Not knowing these things could easily lead one into attacking it with hammer and chisel causing damage worth hundreds of dollars in replacement parts . Now tell us how the City Golf has it attached please, before I get at it with a hacksaw 🤣
found a vw grill emblem from a ‘06 Jetta at our local junkyard and it fit just fine on our 2011 cc thank you for posting this video
Glad it helped
Thanks for this. It worked on my VW Transporter 5.1 front badge!

2010 Passat CC - worked as you described. Thanks.

Hey is this the same on the new 2024 Jetta? I can’t find anything on how to do it on the new models
