    Imagine ordering a whopper from a dude who starred in the movie "Explorers" just a few years prior. Unreal.

      With thousands of aspiring and/or failed actors, how is it unreal that you see one working a regular job?

      @@tmurphy0919 Unreal in a cool way. Everyone should work in retail or food service at least once in their life, it makes you humble.

    Giant food companies who provide restaurants with their stock make "pre-grilled" patties. They feed it through a machine that quite literally brands the raw meat with grill marks then they coat it with smoke flavor and flash-freeze it for shipping. When it arrives the restaurants can just zap-fry it for 90 seconds and blammo... grilled chicken.

    Either Ethan is a liar or he was a crappier employee than he thinks. That machine is a chain broiler which is why BK said they were flame-broiled not flame-grilled. Yes, burgers were microwaved but only cheeseburgers. Just to melt the cheese for 15-20 seconds. If that wasn't done, customers would complain.

    • @Havanorange
      @Havanorange Před rokem +4

      I doubt Ethan's a liar. I agree that microwaving frozen patties wouldn't have been the standard. But that doesn't mean people didn't ever do it. Maybe the broiler broke and the franchisee didn't fix it, or something.

      @@Havanorange Maybe you should work on your comprehension. He said he put it in the broiler. Clearly, it was working.
      Maybe you can't tell the difference between flame-broiled and microwaved meat, but pretty much everyone else can. It looks different, smells different, and tastes different. The broiler is a BK signature. Any store that tried selling burgers without broiling them would quickly lose business and face repercussions from corporate. If you want to keep talking, go for it, but be aware I've got a half dozen other reasons why you're full of it.
