I have an elastic velcro band through the wheel and round the frame to secure that my bike doesn't unfold before intended, during transport (You may buy rather expensive bands specially for this purpose, but mine is just a cheap, black band). I leave it round the frame when not in use for its purpose. I'm presently waiting for a little longer, black titanium seat post, for a try, than the short "standard size" I use now.
I haven't had problems with my handlebar leaving its new, light, titanium clamp. And I have leather sown on my bike, both the frame and its stem post, for protection against scratches during handling. You are able to buy a long leather-cover with velcro, for easy removal, from England, if intended on an often wash! I did as a first give my bike a full Autopolish, so it isn't a problem for me, besides all the carbon cover plates to avoid scratches during the folds (After two folds, one original clear tape had been worn, nearly through to the paint). I remember You had got a plate, which was too thick for its purpose, but all mine are, and functions fine. Finn. Denmark

Mine is also a regural velcro strap. It is very useful.
On traveling, I use two velcro straps to hold tight the folded Brompton.
The frame needs all the protection we can give.

@@ChrisbyBike I have just put my Garten tools back in our small Garten (by our appartement), to the west, to be able to survive sommer in a nice Garten!
I intend to add the last found, light titanium and carbon parts for my 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton on my Bosch, folding worktable, when it get a little warmer (We have had - snow here a few days ago!). Also feeding our Staff of pidgins and crows, of which we know several by names (An old crow with white stains is named after my wife and my fathers, of the same name! We didn't expect it to survive winter, but it has!).
I hope to come below 9 kilo by the last additions! Still some distance down to an original Titanium model, but with mudguards, and for less than half the price! You may buy gold which is too expensive.

It is great to have a garden. Especially with friendly birds that visit you.
I live in an apartment, but this time of year is beautiful to see the big flock of birds that fly from the islands at sea to the islands at land for food.
The flocks pass right in front of my window. Love it!
Your bike will be one of the ligther Bromptons on the market.

it will soon be time to take my Brompton out of hibernation. Much like the Blue Peter tortoise but without the wood shavings:) It has been 3 month since I last wrode it. Will I remember how ??? LOL

Nope. It got lost in the Post Office on Covid time.
It was not possible to go to the Post Office main center because of the Pandemic😔.
But it is alright. I love my black Titanium Seatpost. It looks great.
