My now much less than formerly SuperlightM6LXBrompton is presently down to 8,5 kilo! And with mudguards, as a "Rainy Dane"! I never leave home without them! I also have this titanium bolt and carbon disc on my bike, as it only guides the seat post!
I suppose that a T-line, with mudguards weighs the same, but with only 4 gears? The single speed is a little lighter. I have a black titanium Seat Post and a carbon M handlebar + all bolts, nuts, front axle and discs are now from titanium and a printed saddle. I look for a titanium stem post, but the saved weight is too little for the price, if I'm able to get it Flame painted, as my original post. Finn. Denmark 😁

@@ChrisbyBike I have Titanium as all possible loose parts, bolts, nuts, seat post, the axle in front (and this type stop disc also of course)! And I intend to change my handlebar to carbon, as the clamps on my mudguards!!! As a Rainy Dane I never leave home without them! Plus all the frame covers to buy, to protect from scratches. Brompton should be ashamed about the lack of protective plating!! Finn. Denmark

Please no, don’t upgrade for 19 grams, weaker product to save 19 grams and a headache when it breaks.
Well it all ads up! For now my 2019 Superlight, with similar parts and mudguards, has come close to 9 kilos and the weight of a double priced T line, with mudguards and - only 4 gears 😁. Mine still has 6! Finn. Denmark

It is a concern. I always carry the original Brompton Stop disc on my saddle bag in case of failure.
The 19 gm won't make much difference, but it looks cool😊.
