Her father, Radoslaw Kuczynski is a successful manager/CEO, when Maja was 1 her family moved to Munich, Germany then again to Paris when she was 6, then after a year her father became Deputy CEO of a big bank in Ukraine, then, after another 3 years, they moved again to Prague when Maja was 11 only to come back to Poland when she was 13. So big chunk of her childhood (1-13) was abroad, in many different countries and she attended english-speaking schools (no point learning a local language if you move every few years). On top of that those were most likely the best available schools as her parents were well off. I hope that explains it briefly. And kinda shows her extraordinary life started early.
