All of Heize's songs were smash hits in Korea and they were all good.
All of her songs were mega hits. She is the most popular singer of the last few years. Probably next to IU as a solo female artist. Most of the songs were written and composed by her, and she's actually a singer from an underground rapper.
Kpop is big outside of Korea but the majority of South Koreans primarily listen to KR&B for the most part. Also Heize is originally a rapper and you might be suprised to find out she actually hasn’t been singing for all that long especially if you consider her to the other artists you’ve reacted to on dingo :)
Damn her lyrics are really poetic. With her vulnerability it gives me a Mood. I think that’s why people love her

She was originally a rapper, and her debut was just about to debut as a rapper.
When I recorded, the producer asked me to sing because she had a good voice, but she just made him sing because he was so good. LOL
"You, clouds, rain" - Heize ...Thats my favourite one. TMI -- Its first on my most listened spotify year end 2021.
In monsoon, I play it on repeat like every day. With that voice and lyrics and composition, that song is absolute perfection for me.

so underrated? 🤔what??? 🤨 in Korea she's 1 of the top tier vocalists and top dog in r&b and soul. in 2020 she won award for most influential r&b and soul artist, best r&b and soul artist, and in 2021 in Brand of the Year Award she won Best Female Vocalist. she's not promoting internationally so it's natural that she won't get 100 million views in 1 day. in Korea she slays.

I love heize she's my fav female solo artist in korea, she produces her own music, sings and raps, is very passionate about music and is a super humble person
she went through a lot to make her own music~~~I respect her a lot
she likes to give hugs to everyone she sees (It's fun that it's something to say since in Korea it's not common to have so much physical contact with people who aren't close enough to you yet)

My favorite korean solo artist. Love her and her style so much. And as well the instrumentals, so jazzy, it's outstanding. Never sounds plastic or fake or just like a overproduced album. I love it.

I really like her transition from shy girl to confident singer. At first I thought the music genre was blues but now that you mention it I do hear a bit of rap. Strange because they’re so different.
Heize is one of my ultimate faves. She has been on top 5 of my spotify for 3 years in a row! Her songs are very varied and also somehow very calming. I love her.

Heize is my favorite artist at the moment, her lyrics and production are top tire. Her voice is not the best in tecnic but it delivers what it needs to. I wish she would work more on her tecnic, she has potential to sound better
her technique works for the music she does so she doesn't need to work more. she's the best r&b and soul artist in Korea. aside the awards in r&b/soul she gets(in 2020 she got award for most influential r&b/soul artist) she has won best vocal performance and best female vocalist even though she's an r&b/soul singer and not a power belter singing high notes.
@@SapiaNt0mata in my personal opinion I think that in live stages it will help her have more air control. I don't doubt that she's good but a little more work on her technic 👍 my opinion

I have 3 main biases in kpop, but I have a big crush on Heize, cuz of her voice, her poetic lyrics, and her cute personality. Like if she's one of my colleague, she would be that one person who would make my Mondays at work so much better. She would make me flip inside out with her smiles and her voice.

You, Clouds, Rain is like the rain hymn of South Korea. Any time there are long rain periods, the song tops the charts for a bit. Heize is known as the singer for rain, lovers parting and heartbreak, a lot of her songs are duets but she can also do hip hop style songs very well as she's a rapper. I'd also say her being a rapper is the reason why her texts are so poetic.

I actually like the noise of the jacket. KPop has so much augmented vocal tracks and outright lip syncing (nothing wrong with either) that it’s refreshing to know the mic is live.
