Lindt chocolate with orange?! It´s an amazing combination.
He more so means the coffee and orange don't work very well together. The sweetness from the orange juice he used doesn't carry over very well, so you're left with even more bitterness.
Nio__0 coffee and citrus is a decent flavour pairing that technically speaking works, but depending on the person it can be really delicious! :D

Cold brew tip: try a light roast coffee when making cold brew. Cold brew is already very low on acidity, using a coffee that still has a lot of natural flavors left can give you a really interesting cup of cold brew.

yup, we make the wips everyday multiple times a day. Also the cold brew is chilled for 20 hours and is very popular along with the nitro cold brew

I do but the really small capacity of a 8 cup press for cold brew is annoying. I just make mine in a pitcher and filtre. I did see a reusable tea bag type thing to keep the ground coffee separate.

@@vg1384 i think you gotta find a way to temper the acidity of the orange since chocolate and coffee are pretty acidic anyway.. i think that joint note of acidity is what binds them all together but you want one piece of acidity for all of them to share instead of three pieces making the thing taste like concentrated hydrochloric acid

As a french, I don't know much about Starbucks but here is what I know about chocolate-orange flavors :
You make some orange zests confits, by cooking strips of organic orange skin in syrop, and once it had time to cool down, you can put melted dark chocolate on it.
So, let's say you take those sugary wonders, manage to not eat them all, and blend some directly in your Coffee mixture. You replace the chocolat syrop with something more dark-chocolaty, and I thing you could end up with something a bit bitter but interesting and balanced by the chantilly cream.

If you ask for extra drizzle - I tend to ask for extra caramel drizzle with my frappucinos - they will do the stuff down the sides! I do believe it works for mocha drizzle, they've done it for my sister before!
You could always have an orange and chocolate syrup drizzle on the edge as well as having orange infused cream with the frap. Another idea, which could be good or bad, is small candied orange chunks at the bottom, making kind of a chocolate covered orange peel effect.
Pro tip: the lines on Starbucks cups help the baristas measure liquids- not just decorative!

There's a part of me that's simultaneously confused and proud whenever an Oregon company gets mentioned in something national. I had no idea that Bob's Red Mill was A Thing outside of the Pacific Northwest, yet I live about a mile from their factory.
It's like the time that I was at a restaurant in New York that was proud of using "artisan" Tillamook Cheese. It's our local factory! Huzzah! Also, it's, like, an actual factory, I've been there.
They've been available in health food stores here (I live in AR) for at least 10-15 years now, with a few products here and there in the "natural" foods sections of regular grocery stores. Today there is a full 4-foot section at my local store devoted to various Bob products, and it's not even a fancy grocery store. In the last couple weeks I've bought their steel-cut oats and flaked coconut.

I tried an orange mocha frappuccino this past Christmas, it was amazing, but I love the chocolate oranges at Christmas.
We used half and half and cooled coffee with chocolate syrup to make a regular mocha frappe it worked well enough to keep it from seperating

As a Starbucks barista, I can confirm that we will line the cup of any drink with mocha/caramel drizzle if requested by the customer. Also, we don’t use our iced coffee blend for our Frappuccinos, we use a different roast specifically called Frappuccino Roast, I believe it’s a mixture of our Espresso Roast and our Italian Blend of Coffees
