      I personally like that it's a tear, makes it so it's not insanely op, I'm sure it lasts for roughly 5 minutes which is enough time to take down most bosses if it's not a challenge run or a slog, which it usually won't be if you can deflect the shit out of them

    I with it was a talisman instead of a physic tear. Although it will be super OP, the only way they could balance it is to have the same mechanic of parry (not as a AOW, but a perfect block feature). Make the stamina cost for a perfect block to be about 40% of a dodge roll, and a block or imperfect block to a full dodge roll and with attack penetration from the enemy

    Don't see the point when you're still losing stamina even when you perfectly deflect attacks. This would have been amazing if these deflects resulted in zero stamina drain and poise damage on the enemy being deflected. But as it stands, it looks really no different than equipping a good greatshield with high guard boost. In fact, you can actually shieldpoke in between enemy attacks with a greatshield, whereas here you're stuck waiting for the last hit of an enemy combo to guard counter.

    • @CommanderBladez
      @CommanderBladez  Před měsícem +18

      you're completely right, which sucks. but they only added something like this purely for the sekiro fans who probably don't care as much about optimizing a guard boost build. they just want the sword clangy deflecty feel you get from sekiro, which I think this satisfies to an extent and I still think it's cool
