In both this match and the French Open match her movement really showed marked improvement, probably the closest to her best years. 1998 was far more competitive than 1997 though, and she couldn't stand against Venus and Davenport simply because they exposed her game well, which hindered her from going further. Sanchez of course had marked improvements from 1997 too.
