    Great review Brandon.
You're right about the internal shape. I ordered one (before your review) and found it put a lot of pressure on my forehead.
Bummer because the helmet (and included googles) were otherwise amazing. Hoping they'll modify the head shape in future iterations.

I tried the previous version and had the same thing. It was painful. I was hoping they’d update this shape this time. But nope.

I’ve actually struggled to figure out the difference between the 7.5 and 8.5 until now, and I’ve owned both 😂

They have some impressive safty ratings. Being FIM rating. Even though they are dirt focused would it be okay for the highway and commuting?

is ventilation on 9.5 better than on GPX 5.5?

Wait, but what if the peak breaks off, is it replaceable, or you only can buy another helmet?

They have replacements, and Leatt has sent out a replacement to me no problem.

From what I read in testing certificate of those turbines, they are tested at speeds up to about 20-25km/h so dont expect miracles from it.

The published their entire white paper from the development of this study (available right off the product page of this helmet). And no, testing was not done at 20km/h; it was several different velocities.

I'd like to know this as well. How do they new versions compare to the GPX 5.5?

@@danielEpifanov Sorry Daniel - no response here. I called Leatt and was simply told that the new version was "improved" but without much definition of changes or improvements. I finally bought a Bell helmet that I could try on and look at locally.
