Yes he was part of the coaching set up that got us here and not much changed during his 3 games in charge, but at least he came in and steadied the ship during a very destructive storm. We had quite a decent defensive record last season and in my opinion the problem lay mostly in the midfield and goal keeping. Not as bad as it has been this season though. This season he's been shit but that could easily be explained by burn out, the guy was on a record run of games before he got injured. We have to admit that the only good player we've had this season so far is Degea and that's overstating it...he's been decent at best, and perhaps CR7 who if you take away his goals is a bit of a liability.

Carrick was at club for 15 yrs as coach and failed in a big way. He should have walked when ole was sacked and I believe Rangnik wanted him gone asap. Shearer great striker and nice guy but not too much between ears imo. Read between lines. Rangnik wanted him gone and he will bring in his own coaches that understand his system. Hes not here to babysit anybody. He does not have the time. Club statement was very kind to him as between Carrick and fletcher they were the poorest midfielders i have seen in my lifetime play for United.

I actually think it was quite rude of him. He was the one that proved ole had to go by getting 2 wins and a draw just by defending a little more stoutly. In my opinions he's undermined his status as a united legend.

Evra was a great United player, but all this drivel about United DNA has to stop. SAF had no connection to United before arriving. Sir Matt had no connection to United before arriving. Ole was full of United DNA, and arrived when we were 7th. He stayed just over 3 years, spent £450 million, and left us in 8th!
We need elite management and coaching. Not one single ex-SAF player has been a successful manager. Many have had jobs, but none have ever threatened to win a major trophy.
Before Klopp went to Liverpoop, did he have the DNA? Before Tuchel arrived at the Kremlin, did he have the DNA? Did Guardiola have Plastic DNA?
United are trapped in the past and must be dragged kicking and screaming into the present by a skilled manager and his staff.
