The Kelly controller looks like more fun for sure but is the shunted vevor still fun? Also would the Kelly controller possibly shorten the lifespan of the batteries by discharging them faster?
Depends what you want to use the bike for, if you ever want to go in the woods the vevor is a joke, depending how hard you are on the throttle you can run the battery down faster
hey man i just got my KLS7215ND controller for my go cart. its the 200a version. what battery are you running is these and where did you get the battery?
theres a shunt resistor that tells the controller how many amps its pulling. if you "shunt" a controller you put more material inbetween the resistor surface to make it more electrically resitant meaning the controller gets tricked and thinks its pulling less amps because its programmed for a certain resistance read out. shunted = more power
Kelly offers no customer support so I would choose a different brand if I where you. These guys will not be able to help you with settings because they didn't program the controller, I'm guessing they got it from Electro and Co.
We definitely programmed it ourselves lol, we have programmed 4+ for the locals. We are on the vesc wave now though 👍 not like flipsky gives much support either though lol

Both same batteries, more top end wayyyyy more torque, both the 2k vevor motor

Controller was programmed by ourselves. Definitely had some up and downs but it rips.

I just picked up the same controller for my rsf650 and it rips but its limited at 29.5mph for some reason🤔🤔🤔
